16" barrel, red dot full cowitnessed with the iron sights. I saw a post that recommneded the 25/200 zero for 7.62x39. How about for 5.56?

Thanks

Online ballistic calculator will give you maximum point blank range for any weapon.

Depends on velocity and sight height.

25/200 will get you real close for most military type rifles.

I do a coarse zero at 50 yards and finalize the zero at 200 years. I'm using the SLR-106 for matches with targets from 2 to 300 yards and that zero gets me hits with minimal holdover out to 300 yards.

I zeroed at 25 yards. Unfortunately my range only goes out to 85 yards but with the zero I was getting hits on 6" steel gongs out to that range so thats good enough for me.

A little clip of some SLR fun
