Anybody tried this yet?

https://podarms.com/product/pod-arms-caliber-conversion-follower/

I have a couple Bulgy 74 mags laying around.

Before you say "just buy 5.56 mags.." I'm currently stationed in a Ban state....and I cant bring myself to pay the prices some of stores want for parts kits.

Interesting, I don’t have a 5.45 but I do have a few 74 mags and plan to buy a 5.56 soon. It would be great if these work.

There's a few postings on Reddit showing them working. but I've seen a couple comments that they still have issues and downloading to 20 they are ok.

I'm pretty sure those are 3D printed. If those were molded plastic I would be all over these. For that kind of money, I'm worried about the plastic splitting at one of the layers after heavy use.

I agree they are 3d printed. Which s fine if they used glass filled nylon. But if its generic PLA that has a short lifespan and isnt tolerant of heavy loads...no Thanks.  Maybe I'll just get a promag parts kit and throw the follower in on of my Bulgy mags.

$85 for 4pcs of 3D printed plastic that's marketed as "novelty use"....

I can buy 4 complete magazines for that.

I was thinking these would be like $2-5 each, not $22 each.

This. The Robards ones were cheap, IIRC.

I accidentally bought some Bulgarian 5.45 mags. They are the steel re-enforced polymer mags, not Circle 10s, but supposedly better than some other options. I don’t have a 5.45 or a 556 but I was thinking it would be worth snagging some conversion followers. I figured they were going to be $5 a piece. I about choked when I saw the price...

They’re not worth half what they are asking IMO.
