I'm an avid shooter and a decent understanding of internal, external and terminal ballistics, but I certainly don't pretend to be an expert. Interested in an AK in .308---with the undeniable reliability of the AK and the superior .308, I'd like to hear some advice and opinions about such a build---IF a .308 is even available. Thanks--Steve

A build would be difficult given parts availability. Your best bet would be to get a Zastava M77.

I would try and find a Saiga 308 they are available the prices range a good bit.
