What is wrong with you people?
Up until this thread was published there was virtually NOTHING coming up in google when you punch in ZenitCo. Now, that some of these items found its way to the good ole US of A and as people are able to play with them, it is absolutely natural for them to want to share their thoughts and give head's up to others. Questions of "where do I get these things" or "how much" or "I saw it cheaper there" are only natural and most people don't consider this as "product endorsement” when they post a direct link or especially when they just mention sellers name or talk about their experience while obtaining these items. I am sorry, but threatening to remove this whole thread is a bit too much. A sheer volume of reads of this thread should tell you that this discussion is in demand and many people were in fact searching for the information disclosed and discussed here. I mean, as of right now this thread's statistics show 3700+ reads. Mind you, this is only since Feb. 16th, when it was published. In the same "AK discussions” category, average thread of this age gets few tens or may be few hundreds reads at most. To me this is telling that many people were looking for this info, they are interested in technology discussed here, and they are sharing it with others (by forwarding hyperlinks to this topic to their friends).
So, rather than threatening to deprive people of this resource of valuable information, why don't just do what you supposed to, just remove or edit those posts that do not adhere to the forum's rules. This way everyone will be happy.
P.S. Frankly, I don't think some of my posts were edited on fair grounds, but hey, life's B. sometimes... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quote History Quoted:Quoted:
This thread is already skating on thin ice. I don't want to lock it but I will. VA Gunnut has already cleaned-up some gunbroker links.
You have the sellers name, I could have removed that too. It is easy enough to find his listings. Super-easy.
Again, this thread is on the thinnest of ice. Moderators! What is wrong with you people? Up until this thread was published there was virtually NOTHING coming up in google when you punch in ZenitCo. If a post violates the Coc, the thread can either be edited or locked. Or maybe a warning given to someones account. Up to the mod and the situation.
In this case, this thread got some edits, and a simple warning to stay within the rules of this site.(Coc, code of conduct.)
Click on that red Conduct Code button and refresh you memory.
Go down to the part about Technical Forums, which this is.
This thread isn't locked, so I think the other mods did a good job keeping this thread open.
That's my take from reading this whole thread.
