I don't have any guns and I live in a glass house.

Sorry just kidding, put them behind steel.

growing up my dad had the classic glass front gun case... friend of my brothers broke in and stole all the hand guns... did the same to all his friends houses that had similar cabinets... we got them back and he lined the cabinet in steel...

I have mine in a safe...

I have one, I keep me better C&R rifles in there on display.  All other rifles/pistols are in a StackOn steel cabinet.  Not many people get far enough into my house to see where the guns are so I don't worry much about burglars.  Besides if they got into the house, they'd have to get into my bedroom and past my G30 to get to them.  A good home alarm is also a must.

House is alarmed and steel bars across doors at night, not to mention the dog and weapon at ready.

Just looking to display my toys, as I do with my sports memoribilia(way more expensive than my guns) and they don't go into a safe every night.  Before you say "burglars", I don't live my life in fear...all the neccesary precautions have been taken. And if it does happen, everything has been visually documented and files kept off property for insurance recovery.

Why use a cabinet with all that security? Just hang'em on the wall or build a rack.

I've thought of that option(like the sarcasm by the way)...not what I'm thinking. I'll hit up the cabinet shop that did my kitchen with some ideas.

I saw an interesting clear "safe" for sale at Kittery Trading post once...it was made of thick polycarb/plexi/etc. It was a 5 sided locking contraption with a spinner at the top...(think a lazy susan for guns behind thick lexan). Don't know who makes it, but it looked like it would offer far more security from a smash and grab. Zero fire protection though.

Only one is "displayed" in a glass cabnet:
I do have a glass faced cabnet inside a secured room, but the only thing in there are some single shot .22's

Browning used to make them but they were discontinued.  I know where there is a 2 gun wall mount available.  It's Black with a gray interior.

From Brownings website:

2 Gun Horizontal Display Case. The Horizontal Rifle/Shotgun Display Case allows owners to display two rifles or shotguns. This elegant case bolts to wall and is constructed of 14-gauge steel body with 12-gauge steel door perimeter. The impact resistant polycarbonate window opens with gas charged struts. E-Cam programmable lock with gray interior, Suggested Retail, $899.00

it was always a dream of mine to have a gun room displaying all of my WW2 rifles and pistols hanging on the wall... with my flags hanging over top of them representing the countries that used them.
i just think it is a bad idea now days to advertise what we have. i recomend getting a good quality fireproof safe to keep them all in.

They wont go in while you are home.
To answer the OPs question, about ten years ago there was  a company that made "glass"  gun cases that were really bullet resistant plate glass and steel under a wood veneer. The company is out of business now, but you might find one used on Ebay or something. Thats the closest I'd come to the old style glass cases in the modern world.
