Vec hawk- 20" commache stadia- still waiting, should ship this next week
Vec hawk- 24" BUGhead dirty- still waiting
Scrapper 5
Another RC4
RMJ Shrike

Next and not in order
Waki or AK47 ect
RC10
A norse style hawk
?
?

The only 1 above that I "really want" is the RC10, the others... if I get them great, if I dont its okay.... I have been dropping money into other items... Just this weekend I spent another $1000 plus (think it was 1400)  at Kifaru Again. Still want a smaller pack of theres scout or Molle X with a few small pockets, and a 6man with med stove. That will be another 2K for these items alone. Im sitting pretty on blades right now. But there is something about the long knife design of the AK/ Waki that is drawing me to it. If the preorder is still up in a few weeks when I get my bonus Ill be on it like donkey kong.

very interesting direction you're going with your collecting.  all would make nice additions to any man's collection too!  do you perchance have one of those GGG Axes?  i stumbled across one the other day at GunWurx and almost bought it.  is it a good ax?  worth collecting?  whats a good price for one?  i googled but only saw a couple for sale on ebay.

No GGG, Looked but never took a bite. The vec hawks are a gerat design and cant wait to get the and try them out, a coworker snagged one a few months back and that is what got me looking. After I get it I am going to have a friend mock up a kydex/ molle sheath that will hold it to my Kifaru packs, thinking about a head down top removal design that will secure the handle under a longpocket (similar to the gunbearer design for long/ sniper "aux" rifles), I have plenty of SRBs straps and such to play with designs thru the rest of the year. The Vec hawks are pretty lightweight while still being all business on the business end. Decent for wood, great as a tool, and usable as a weapon... About 1oz, per inch on the 20" hawks. The one that should be here next week will look like this:

Last five (in chronological order ––-> oldest to newest):

Gerber BMF (un-serrated)...Replaced a Buck 184 "Buckmaster" survival knife. Luckily, I still have this Gerber.

Skip about 20+ years...

Chris Reeve Yarborough (5.5" blade version)...I Just wanted to have one for no particular reason. Still have it.

Gerber LMF II ASEK w/ belt cutter...Great bang-for-the-buck knife. Got it for cheap at LA Police gear. Still have it.

Chris Reeve small Sebenza...A really neat knife. My supervisor A big knife collector was jealous. Unfortunately, I forgot I had the knife on me when I went to get on a flight at the airport. TSA knabbed it and I had no way of securing it (was running late for my flight).
OMG, I was majorly pissed at myself for losing that knife!!!!

Sig Tac 'Range Master' skeleton folder...Got it cheap ($40) as a temporary replacement for my Sebenza.

As for next knives...all I want is a replacement for my Sebenza. That's it

Those TSA bastards probably run around with a lot of good knives.  I forgot I had one on me two years ago, but I was able to send it to myself in the mail from a shop in the airport.

Starting from newest to oldest:
1. standard Marine Corps Kabar
2. Emerson CQC-13 Bowie
3. Styder WP Bowie
4. Spyderco Delicia OD handle, Black Blade
5. Letherman(s)

The one knife I am looking at is the Zero Tolerance 350.  I have never felt a better quality non custom knife better than a Zero Tolerance.  If I had known about them a year ago I wouldn't have bought the Emerson, which has been a great knife though.

My last five minus one:
http://mirkstone.com/~nullandvoid/last5minus1.jpeg

Bradley Alias II (blue handle), Benchmade 707-701, SOG Vision, and Boker 2004. The one missing was a CRKT KISS I bought for a gift and (obvoiusly) gave away. The next on my list is a Benchmade Mini-Rukus, even though a Spyderco Caly3 is tempting too. Those will have to wait, I'm too near completing my AR build and I have to save for optics .

Not really a coolector, I use them at work, and sometimes they are issued/given to me, so I will just hit my top 5 and what they are for

emerson commander wave- carry off-duty
spyderco police endura, modified with die grinder to wave config.- carry in uniform as a pocket/utility knife
SOG pentagon- attached to body armor w/ zip ties, 100% all-purpose tactical
gerber demo multitool- always carried "outside the wire"
Ontario line cutter hook knife- also carried on body armor, used to cut strapping, flex-cuffs, etc

I got a whole box of other knives obtained over 22 years of service. Most just collect dust. The ones above will be replace when/if I find something better, and preferably free. Not likely tho.

Well, about 45 years ago I purchased a Monarch "Original Bowie Knife" with a 7" blade.  I was in Boy Scouts at the time an no self respecting Boy Scout went to a camporee without a Bowie knife of some sort.  Last year I resurrected it from the basement, cleaned off the corrosion and put a pretty nice edge on it.

Last year I got a Ka-Bar USMC Fighting Knife for some strange reason.  Evil looking and holds it's edge pretty good buy too big to have much practical use.  Then I purchased a Gerber LMF II Survival knife at a guns show.  More  practical in the field.   I also purchased three Air Force survival knives over the last year.  One I gave to one of my son's.  Two were made by Cammilus and kept  in storage since 1984 and one was an Ontario that I got at a gun show.

Oh ..............  I also carry an NRA pocket knife that I got when I joined the NRA 4 or 5 years ago.

No idea what I plan to get next.  I will just have to wait and see one that speaks to me.

I can't remember back 5 knives.

Camillus Commando Knife (marine raider replica) (the photo shows an older one, alledgedly made with WW2 blade blanks)

Chris Reeves Shadow IV(photo shows Shadow 1 and Shadow III, the IV is in between their sizes)

Gerber Mk. II Anniversary model

Boker EFK

Paladin

ETA: Nice BMF shown earlier.  I've had one for maybe 15 years.  It's split a ton of mesquite chunks for my wood smoker, and never had the edge chip.

I haven't bought a knife, but I did buy a Fiskars Mini axe.
For all the guys who complain how their knife broke or won't keep an edge when hacking down the forest Paul Bunyan style, this is a piece of gear you should add to your kit.
I guarantee you won't dull or break your knife whacking through a tree limb if you have this tool handy.
