Use is pure CDI factor.

I am either looking at getting a 9mm can (already own a .22 can) , or Remington 870 AOW .

I have shot 9mm cans before , they are not as "impressive" as a .22 can . Generally alot louder then Hollywood. .22 cans are just about Hollywood quiet.

I have also wanted an 870 AOW , I just don't know how much fun those are as I have never shot one , or even a pistol gripped shotgun for that matter.

What say the hive ??

Do you already have anything threaded?  That is influencing my next NFA choice.

I would at least shoot a pistol grip shotgun first, before you decide on a SBS.  I have a .22 suppressor, and have to decide between getting a .45 suppressor or a .223 suppressor - or getting a 9mm suppressor and 9mm threaded barrel.  Fairly certain I am going with the .45 suppressor, to go on a USP tact, but I have at least a few months of saving ahead first.

Get the Remington AOW.  $5 transfer and they are more rare.  9mm cans are everywhere....

In my experience ... Chicks like cool and quiet. Guys like loud.

I've never comes across a girl willing to shoot my SBS ... in fact, their usual reaction is to take a few steps back away, and cover their earmuffs with their hands. (And these are girls who enjoy doing mag dumps with my M16 and Uzi.)

OTOH, show 'em a suppressed gun of any type and it's like, "Oooo! Can I try that one?"

YMMV.

Well, you said "pure CDI factor"....

The .22 can is much more impressive then the 9mm can though. and I have a 22 can.

Sounds like you have your mind set on the AOW...

Unless someone convinces me AOWs are just boring ...

Get the AOW.  A guy needs variety and AOW shotguns are cool even if the chicks don't necessarily dig em.

Eh, that's a tough one. I like my cans. So I'd likely say that. I haven't been a very big fan of the AOW shottys, but lots of guys seem to like them.

See if you can try one first.

The novelty wore off for me pretty quickly.  OTOH, I keep trying to come up with new and novel guns to suppress.  I was shooting the Desert Eagle .44 suppressed yesterday.  It's a heavy SOB with a 12" subgun can on the end of it, but it is still danged accurate, and you can be sure it's going to be the only one at pretty much anywhere you go to shoot.
