I'll start.  Had to borrow my daughter's Altima, one way or another I was going to be in the woods come daybreak.

This, though you probably raised a few eyebrows driving down the road.

No pictures of it, but way back in the day I had a Ford EXP, 2 door hatchback based on the Escort.  I used to hunt down on Quantico.  Took home several deer in the back on a tarp.

There was actually a time when I didn't have a truck. I had a cutlass supreme. Hauled many a deer in the trunk.

There was a time when I was not prepaired for everything. That time is past.

Funniest thing I saw driving home from my hunt this November was a deer carcass strapped to the roof of a Toyota Prius. I thought all Prius drivers were libtard anti-hunting Obama zombies.

Wish I had pictures of the time I stuffed a quartered bull elk, a 6x6 elk rack, my saddle, and hunting gear all into a '99 Subaru Legacy sedan...
That same car has had several deer in the trunk.

One time I saw a photo of a field dressed 5x5 bull elk tied onto the back of a Volkswagon Beatle (old style).

I drive a 2012 Toyota Prius C (the little one with hatchback). My previous vehicle was a 2010 Dodge Ram Crew Cab w/ Hemi, but I am an independent contractor and couldn't afford the gas. I was actually spending triple my mortgage on gas every month . I love my Prius' ~60MPG and I can still get my collapsible ladder in the back with the seats folded down, 4 tool boxes, a 40-gallon container, a couple boxes of bulk cable, my laptop bag, and my Bone Collector gun case...simultaneously . I am always on the road and carry my AR-15 with me in case I have some time between jobs to do some shooting. I even have my NRA stickers and P.E.T.A sticker on the rear window...People Eating Tasty Animals .

So this was before I had my truck. I had climbed out of my stand one evening at dark and when I finally got my climbing stand all packed up and on my back. I step out into the cut bean field and there is this little doe standing broadside at about 50 yards. I see her right as she sees me so I throw the gun up and squeeze the trigger. She mule kicks and bounces into the woods. I run over and flash my flashlight into the woods but dont see anything. i was pretty sure I had hit her but I figured it was freaking freezing that night so i would just leave her alone and look for her in the morning. I hike the 500 yards from my house in thigh deep snow to where I shot her and start looking for blood in the snow. I immediately find a few drops and start following a trail that looks like someone ran through the woods with a bucket of red paint and finally there she was about 35 yards in the woods. Perfect shot right in the crease of her shoulder. She was frozen solid. I started to drag her out but the snow was deep and it was a pain in the ass so i hiked back to the house to look in the barns for something to drag her on. Thats when I found this hood to my BIL's old VW beatle.I drug her out then hooked the hood to my gf's cavelier to take it across the road to clean her at the skinning shed. I will remember this deer for the rest of my life. A really fun hunt and a really fun recovery.

Back in if I remember right it was 77 or 78 I was in my 75 MGB.  I went up to my Uncles place to do an evening hunt.   When I arrived at his house he told me he saw like thirty deer in the back field that morning.   If I took my time and drove back their I might be able to get one or two.  I went ahead and put the top down just in case.   When I drove back to the back field they wear their alright.   Their wear deer all over the place.   At the time I was using my Mini 14.   The closest Buck to me was a nice spike about 80yds, dropped that one.   Went back to the house to get my Uncle to help me load it on the back of my car.   When I left my Uncles place and headed home I had a lot of funny looks.   But the best one was when the State Trooper pulled up behind and put his lights on and when I started to pull over he called out on his PA system don’t stop I just wanted to see what you had on the back of that little car.    When I got home I strung it up under the Magnolia tree in the front of my Moms house and cleaned it there.   One of the neighbor hood kids said I had killed Bambi, I replied I had killed Bambi’s Dad.

You should've sat him upright in the passenger seat.

I don't have any pics, but I used to loop a rope on the back of my Honda Civic and attach the rope to a piece of plywood and plop the critters on top of the plywood and drag it a mile down dirt roads to home. Brought home a few big hogs like that.

My uncle drove a Volvo for years. He drove back to Chicagoland with the trunk stuffed full of deer many times. Dad & I would just LOL and shake our heads.
