Tactical Shotgun & Pistol Course
Date: April 14th
Times: Tactical shotgun/pistol (9.30am till 5pm)
Where: Okeechobee Shooting Sports
Outline: This course reviews both the positive and negative points of using shotguns for practical real fighting applications. Course includes firearms safety, ammunition selection, effective ranges, loading/reloading techniques, using cover, standing, kneeling and prone positions, shooting on the move, and transitioning from shotgun to pistol and pistol to shotgun.
Equipment: Shotgun (pump or Semi), handgun and enough magazines or speed loaders (3 min)
Additional Equipment: Sling, Strong side holster, mag carriers, and shell carriers. Baseball cap and sun screen (sun protection), food and drinks, elbow and knee pads, along with clothing that will allow for work on the ground and ALL weather conditions (no open top shoes, shorts, sleeveless shirts or v neck tops).
Ammunition Required: 200 rounds of birdshot, 50 rounds 00buck, 25 rounds of slug and 200 handgun rounds (min)
Prerequisites: All students must have completed a Shotgun & Handgun Intro or a comparable course and be familiar with their shotgun & handgun of choice. This is not a course for new shooters, Shotgun or handgun.

How far away are you guys from Pensacola? I'm active duty and stationed at Hurlburt Field. I should be back from Afghanistan by then and if I am I'd like to attend if its not ridiculously far I'm
still not all that familiar with Florida locations.
