Inspired by this here, what are some of your favorite spots to go in the state? To start it off:

Hernandez to Go in Sioux Falls. Awesome little burrito shop at 101 N. Fairfax in Sioux Falls. I'd grab a burrito ($6) and a taco ($1.50) then plan a nap shortly afterward. Cash only.

Royal Bake Shop in Centerville. Located on the main drag its the town bakery. If you happen to be nearby in the morning you won't regret getting it fresh. Also Cash only.

Sammy's Restaurant & Omlette Shop in Aberdeen. 212 S. Main St. Perfect for slopping off a hangover (or Aberdeen itself for that matter). Kind of what I imagine the 70's were like.

Mr. Smiths in Vermilion. 812 Cottage Ave located in the ACE hardware. Sandwiches made to order, they make probably the best Reuben I've ever had.

I just got back to AZ from a trip up to Sioux Falls to see my family, and I grew up there as well.  We went to JL Beers for dinner one night, excellent burgers!  Otherwise I'm a fan of Puerto Vallarta on Louise, and Hu Hot.  Fucking love Hu Hot!

ETA: I really like Foley's for something nicer as well.  Love their steaks, proper midwest corn-fed beef.

The Corner Bar and Cafe in Camp Crook has some damn fine prime rib if you're in that area on a Friday or Saturday night.

Sioux Falls-
The Attic - Huge bloodies and good food all the way around. Charging Chicken/Ranch Fries/Bottle Caps(Fried jalapenos)
Shahi Palace - Killer indian food. Say no more if you havent had indian food you havent lived
Bros Brasserie - Pork Belly Eggs Benedict - good tap menu
Golden Dragon - Standard issue solid chinese food
Tokyo Beacon Center - Sushi boat and they always toss in tons of free stuff
The District - Contrary to popular belief its nice for casual meal. Tons of taps and well rounded menu
Jackys - Great mexican but their triple milk cake is where its at.
Boss's Pizza - They deliver late and it seems to always be good. Tomacellis is a close second

Rapid City-
Murphys Pub - Just had their buffalo meatloaf last week. My god
Philly Teds - Cheap awesome philly sandwiches. 20 varieties and they have real deal ghost pepper sauce that is awesome tasting and grossly hot
Independent house of ale - Killer pizza and cheese bread. Tons of taps
Que Pasa - taquela bar/smoked meat mexican dishes.  Brisket tacos? why yes

Spearfish
Lucky's 13 - good bloodies big menu always good
Barbacoas - Great burritos. Their honey habenero sauce is great

Brookings -
The Market - havent been but have heard good things.
Backyard BBQ - New location has lots of seating.  Boneless wings are good and slider trio is good. Quality sides too. Nothing crazy bbq wise but consistent and quick

Aberdeen-
Mavericks - Decent BBQ good taps nice place

Watertown-
Any place other than Buffalo Wild Wings.  Tried it once on a Monday night and was smack in the middle of a bar fight over a football game. Management didnt catch it in time kept serving them. Couldnt get it put out. Didnt offer comps for spilled beer from brawl.

Bonus Round - Luverne MN
The Bluestem - Ill drive over to Luverne anytime to eat here. Top notch beer list/Great bloodies/great steaks/Never had a bad meal here and they are great(friendly). Top notch!

Brookings:

Nick's Hamburgers. It's a legend that's been in business since 1929. Delicious sliders cooked in molten grease. Not for those concerned about their cholesterol. Great homemade pies.

George's Pizza. Some of the best thin crust/dough I've ever had. Gyros are amazing.

Wooden Legs Brewing. So-so bar food (pizzas and sandwiches) but great, locally brewed beer.

Backyard Grill. There is literally nothing bad here. Ribs, pulled pork, brisket, pulled smoked chicken, etc.

Saké Sushi and Hibachi. Our personal favorite. We get treated like royalty and 9.9 times out of 10 we get free food. Good sushi (for being South Dakota) and noodle dishes.

Sioux Falls:

The one, the only, Sushi Masa. My personal favorite for sushi in SD.

Another vote for Shahi Palace.

Carnival Brazilian Grill. Usually do a birthday celebration here. Eat my weight in grilled meat. Amazing.

Deadwood/Lead:

Sugar Shack. South of Deadwood/Lead on 385. Scary on the outside, scary on the inside. Amazing burgers, great breakfasts.

Montrose:

Special mention to the "Irish Pub". Got a motorcycle route that takes me through Montrose. Great place to stop for a break, beer, and burger and fries. Reminds me of a place that should be out at the lake (Poinsett, Oakwood, etc.).

Oacoma:

Al's Oasis. How could anyone forget Al's? Buffalo burgers, homemade pies.

That old bastard is responsible for at least half my extra belly blubber Seriously I used to get lunch there almost every day when I was doing contract work at the hospital and mental health clinic.

I had opportunity to stop at the Bitter Sweet Lodge North of Watertown this past Saturday. I was with a group of six and everyone had amazing steaks. I would definitely recommend, but get there early.
