There you are. Welcome.
I shot small competitions in my home state before the military.
While I was deployed I was sent all the magpul dynamics videos and it made me want to take some classes and find a good range to go to.
Welcome, and thank you for your service!
5th Generation East Tennesseean living in Knoxville. Former Army SGT and now a professional photographer. Just bought my first AR (Bushy MOE) and thought I'd finally register here. Hope to find some good resources here and ranges in the area past 100m. Thanks!
I shoot everything from a pellet gun to a .338LM (although it is tough to find anywhere to stretch a .338LM in West TN)
-DD: welcome, and thank you for your service as well!
-Scott: you'll have to join the locals for a show.
I definitely wouldn't mind tagging along at the next show. Looks like it might be Oct. 1st and 2nd.

Hello to all...
Been out of shooting for last 15 years due to wives, took current wife going in Army Reserves to finally give in. ( We have custody of 4 grandkids reason she did not like it.) She has the bug now as well.

Shoot at the Desoto range in Como, MS. Mostly handguns but have now been bitten by the AR bug.
How do you like that range? I have been contemplating joining it for a little while now.
Its a great range for handgun and rifle. I joined it over MSSA because it is cheaper and it doesnt have the guest restrictions. My dad likes to come shoot but bc of age can only make it 2 or 3 times a year. At MSSA he could only come as a guest 3 times lifetime. In Como its anytime I want to bring him along with me. Plus I really dont do the competitions. MSSA is great but Como just a better fit for me personally.
My Girlfriend and I shoot as much as we can. New to the area and our jobs, so not shooting as much as we like.
We shoot Glock full size in .40s&w and 9MM, Remington 700 in .270, a .243 and a RRA LAR in 5.56
I just moved to Jamestown from Maryville.
Medically retired from the Army.
I'm a Test Administrator for DOD/ MEPCOM. Looking for another part-time job.
I currently have no place to shoot. I feel like an orphan.
