The Omega X™ Rails feature a unique blend of Omega Rail™ technology along with the strength of our proprietary Bolt-Up Design. The Omega X™ Rails offer a smooth transition from the upper receiver offering the most useable rail space in conjunction with a standard front sight base. It boasts a continuous upper rail platform along with integrated, limited rotation, sling swivel attachment points on either side for ambidextrous use. This two piece free float rail system secures to a proprietary barrel nut with our AR15 Lite Rail Barrel Nut Wrench so initial gunsmithing is required for installation. Once the rail system is completely installed, it can easily be removed from the barrel nut to allow the end user to perform maintenence to the barrel and gas tube while still maintaining a true free float design.

The Omega X 12.0 FSP Rail System is for a Carbine length gas system, offering the benefit of a full length rail system while leaving the standard Front Sight Base in tact.
The Omega X rail system comes standard with three black ladders to proctect the 1913 rails as well as the shooters hand. The Ladders are contructed from santoprene, which can handle heat up to 350 degrees.

The Daniel Defense AR15 Lite Rail utilizes the patented Bolt Up System&trade which allows the upper receiver to have a continuous uninterrupted upper rail platform. The Daniel Defense 9.5 FSP Free Float Rail System features a cut in the front of the top rail to accommodate the front sight post and gas block of a carbine length AR15 gas system, while at the same time, providing much needed additional rail space along the sides and bottom rails. More rail space means enhanced capability for modern rifle accessories.

The Daniel Defense AR15 Lite RailTM 12.0 is the next advancement in the free float rail systems. The AR15 Lite RailTM 12.0 FSP weighs in at only 14 ounces and utilizes a steel barrel nut! The patented Bolt Up System&trade allows for an uninterrupted upper rail platform.
The Daniel Defense 12.0 FSP Free Float Rail System features an opening in the top rail to accommodate the front sight post and gas block of a carbine length AR15 gas system. This precision cut-out provides much needed rail space along the top, sides, and bottom rails of the 12.0 FSP. The rifle’s front sight post protrudes through this opening but does not diminish the useable mounting area on the rail that extends beyond the gas block and over the carbine’s barrel. This extra “real-estate” is a perfect location for aiming devices, flashlights, and laser sights.
