I finally finished and mounted my Ironwood seconds buttstock plus a carry handle I bought from a FALFiles user years ago. It only took eight or so years...

Also changed out the Tapco POS handguard for new DSA US-made and the Phantom for an A1 FH.

Very nice. Simple, yet elegant!

I like the para rear sight and I've been thinking about using one on my Imbel gun.

I had this built back during the AWB ('02 or '03) on an IMBEL GL reciever with a bare 18" barrel. The rear sight is a VOW which I think is almost identical to the A2 rear DSA sells. Since then I've added the Brit-style selector, had the barrel threaded by ADCO including a flared bushing for the FH to time against and changed the buttstock and handguard from Penguin to what you see now. She's a hell of a shooter and very handy!

Is that a T-48A1 clone? Nice forearm...what sort of dust cover is that? Looks interesting.....

Hello, it's a Model A Izzy Heavy Barrel like what was used in the 50's. They used the same style handguard as the T48-E1 trials heavy barrel rifle. The dust cover is also Israeli.

Thank you Tim! I'm going to change the pistol grip (PG) out on the light barreled Izzy as soon as I can find a N.O.S. Belgian PG that looks like it will match the wood furniture. I think it will look much better then. It, like the heavy barrel, still needs the locking shoulder...they both are "not quite done".
