Had plans of building a bench, but stumbled across this IAC Industries work station via Craigslist on the cheap.

Thanks for the compliments and the tip. I plan to build some cabinet doors for some of the shelves and will plan to segregate the primers/powder. I know my bench looks bare and I'm missing a lot of reloading tools but I share equipment with my father-in-law (who lives across the pasture). My setup doesn't even hold a candle to his reloading room and range. I'll have to ask him if I can snap some pics of it and share them, you guys would love it.

Is that bench of lockable casters? I'm assuming it is as otherwise it'd be kind of hard to use the Lyman turret press, wouldn't it?

The mini-leg lamp is a nice touch.

I thought I'd posted my rebuild of my bench... but couldn't find it...

Before:

New bases:

Leveling and finishing:

Top installed: (¾" marine grade underlayment with countertop overlay)

Rifle/Pistol reloading area:

Opposite view:

Casting area:

Separate shotshell loading area:

Powder/primer storage:  (primers in lower "freezer" area)

Yes, I reload a LOT of BP!

Im using Inline Fabrications quick mount system. In that picture the Lyman press is sitting in the spare press storage location. I can switch presses on the fly. It's really a great system!

How are you mounting the turret to the bench?  Did you just bolt down the quick change plate?

Inline actually makes storage plates that you mount to something sturdy to store your spare press/plate. However, given my space requirements and the need for some beefy backing for the storage plate it just wasn't going to work for my setup. What I needed was a way to keep my spare press stored on the bench but tucked out of the way. And it needed to be sturdy!!!! So YES, I ordered a second sub plate and used longer bolts and 1"x1/4ID nylon spacers. Mounted this all up and it is now my storage rack for switching out presses.

Here is a view with my LNL stowed to the side:

This also may explain the system a bit better to:

By all means! COPY! I had actually bought one of the single storage racks, and the rack it's self is more then strong enough to bear the weight. Where you can run into problems though is the backing! IT NEEDS TO BE STOUT!!!!

Well I got to another camp on saturday and this time I will be on a road system and driving my own truck so my "apartment bench" is going with me to load 4,000 9mm and some .223.

Also mounted a chunk of aluminum "L" rod for akro bin mount.

My workbench. I installed a Dillon RL 550B last weekend. I'm building a lower table to hold a case cleaner. I'll take another picture when that's done. I need to replace my old RCBS 5-0-5 that was damaged sometime during a move and get some .223 REM brass.

I built the bench using a Kreg pocket jig to attach the 2x4's, 1x6's and oak 2'x4' plywood.

I've had the bench for a couple of years now, it works great.  I have it lag bolted to the studs in the wall so it's pretty solid.  When I got the LNL I made a strong mount type base at work from 3/16" mild steel plate, it really helps to have the press up 7" or so.  I can see in the cases perfectly to check for powder before I set a bullet on top.

I asked the folks at Inline what the load limit was on their storage plates.  They said it was dependent on the fasteners you use and what you fasten the plates to.  I have a Hornady LnL AP on one plate and I'm looking at where to put its storage spot - mostly because of the riser for the case feed system, I need some room behind the plate.  I'd bet that anything sturdy enough to mount a 650 on would be sturdy enough to mount a storage plate for a 650 on Inline's quick change system.

Thanks........ no, they aint been hunting yet. I was born and raised in WA state running dogs for Chuckar and Pheasant but, here in Central MO, bird hunting is pretty scarce.
They do hunt down moles, groundhogs, and crows themselves pretty good though.

Thats interesting, I have the same press and case kicker. I also have access to a 3d printer.
How well does it work?
Any chance of getting the file for the printer? or who printed it for you?

Might not be an ARFCOM member but there's a guy who 3D prints an RCBS primer catcher that routs the primers directly to the trash.

Here is the current mess my safe room is in. Construction on the house just got done about a year and a half ago. I plan of finishing the room this winter. It will get drywall all the way around, epoxy coated floor  and some solid Costco benches and display racks for the guns. There is another half to the room about the same size as the pic I took from one of the corners, about 350 sqft in total.

We had to take cover in it once this year. Had a small EF1 roll through about 3/4 of a mile south of us. You can hear the wind through the concrete, so I the wife and I were sitting in silence waiting for it to pass she asks me innocently "What happens if a tornado hits the house. I told her "We will open the vault door and be outside"

She was less than amused.

Here's mine.

The frame is all 2x6s - I used the "torsion bar" plan that was posted here recently. Since it's free standing, I doubled the torsion bar design on the back, too. The bottom shelf has 2x6 joists, 12" on center.

The top and shelving unit are made of finish grade birch plywood with three coats of polyurethane. Between the extra 2x6s in the torsion design and a few little extras, it doesn't move...at all.

I'm very happy with the result. (The light marks on the front center are sunshine)

Placing the scale at eye level was a huge improvement. I also added a LED light above the scale for maximum clarity.

Thanks for the kind words on the finish - all it took was a little (OK, maybe a lot) of time with 220 grit sandpaper, a $50 sheet of good plywood, and poly.

Finally finished the reloading bench!

It's a 5' vairant of the one found on Family Handyman. I Added extra legs to the bottom shelf for ammo cans and beefed up the frame of the work surface for a bench vise and reloading press.
