The other bench holds a Dillon SDB, Redding T-7, and Forster Co-Ax. I use it to do smaller batches, load workups, brass prep, and Garand handloads.

Another day with all three clocks.  You can never have too much time. Post-its to remember where I left off.

Just finished up my new bench, I’m still trying to fine tune everything so I can avoid the clutter of my last one. It is a little bit smaller than my last one but I will have way more storage and the wall control panels will be better for than my old pegboard system.Attachment Attached File

I reworked my bench yesterday and added all the storage hanging on the wall next to the cabinet.  In my attempt to teach myself practical woodworking I built the cubbyholes where my micrometer stand will live once it arrives.

Reloading room is almost finished. Been working on it on and off for over a year between deployment and TDY’s. I was able to free up a lot of counter space by utilizing the Inline Fabrications quick detach mounts for my presses that I use the most. I’ll post pics of the entire project when I’m done. Still have to rhino-line those cabinets in the pics that someone was throwing out.

Some of you guys have some beautiful setups.  Mine is a little more utilitarian.  After three years in my current house, I finally took the time to set up my reloaders.  A couple of years back I built the workbenches.  The one on the left side is for working on guns and bows.  The bench on the right side is intended to be a semi dedicated reloading area.  It is 2x4 framed with two glued and screwed 3/4" sheets of plywood with a top that I epoxy coated.  The walnut blocks that the loaders and case prep station are on all have the same "bolt pattern" for bolting them to the bench.  The current location of the presses and station is just where I set them for the pic.  Eventually, I'll probably build a shelf above with the same bolt pattern for getting some or all of them out of the way when needed.

The blocks that I built aren't doing anything that the Inline Fabrications couldn't do better, but I couldn't get my tight ass to drop the coin.  I also thought about going the T track route that a few guys on here did, but in the end, I had some scraps of walnut 8/4 board, so I used it.

Way to tease me by bumping this without a pic.

I just subscribe to the thread for future ideas.

Here’s a pic of the new bench I’m working on at the new house.

Edit: damn, you beat me with the edited in pic.

I repurposed some office furniture for the small space I had to work with.  The ultra smooth surface is great for managing powder that doesn't always hit it's mark and no stains like you would get with plywood.  Eventually, if I ever get my own gun/loading room, I plan on using an entire office corner workstation with overheads as my bench. Here's my humble operation.  All of my brass stock is in a closet and not pictured. Still haven't found a place to mount my turret press:(

I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again but thanks so much for you and all the others for posting these pictures.  Pure inspiration.

I’ve seen some great benches here and based on the reviews here as well as my old bench there’s always something to learn or make better.

Here’s my current setup now that it’s somewhat finished. I might add a support leg if I think I need to.
I’ll also add shelving up above once I frame out the room.

A job transfer means new bench. A local hotel was getting rid of their old furniture and an oak desk makes a nice workbench.

Here is my submission.   It took a while to get to this point due to my career path.  But I was able to convert a storage room in our house.

The bench is 1.5in glued and screwed sheets with melamine on top.  The frame is simple, but specifically made not really for strength so much but for rigidity, which also confers strength.  I used a lot of pocket screws, using the Kreg larger pocket screws for the frame and the small 2in screws as well as glue, to secure the top.   The bench was then lag screwed into studs.   The front legs were shimmed since even with great care, there's going to be one leg, especially when using 3 legs, that will be unsupported, let alone the concrete not being even.

As you can tell, the other parts assembly type bench I also made is constructed a little differently.

I also installed the lighting after I initially made the benches.

Heck yes!

And to that point, for this other bench, I specifically made it so that base could be centered over the 2x6 and 4x4 post.

Similar with the reloading bench and the heavy Prazi press.  That thing won't budge.   Same with that zero press in the middle.   I'm going to put an inline fab flush quick change plate between those too so I can put on some other presses and things that I use less frequently.  8ft wide is almost not wide enough.  Oh, also it's 24in deep.   26 or 28in would have been fine too and maybe a little better, but I like being able to bisect 4x8 sheets to make these.

Also I have some 1/8" Walnut I stained and was going to put around the edge for a little trim.

I like neatness of some of the "Reloader Man Cave" pictures.  Some look like they should be on the cover of 'Architectural Digest"

I really like the benches with "tracked" tool fixtures.

But, there is something to be said for DryFlash's bench.. Lived In!  And, most of all functional!

Not reloading technically but this is my processing area...

Over a year ago my in-laws sold a huge warehouse they've owned for 50+ years and bought a small industrial space in a multi-unit building. I had ~6,000 sq ft there but it was usually a 1-1.5 hour drive to get there and in the last few years I rarely went. This new space is ~2,500 sq ft and I am lucky enough to occupy most of it with trailers, cars, motorcycles and shop space. Best of all it's 10 minutes from the house. I've built up this bench and area for case processing and firearms related activities. The bench will get a new sheet of Masonite soon. I have another bench to the right that's a standing work bench and perfect height for presses, etc. I'll post when I get that set up properly but here's this for now. I also have a deep utility sink for rinsing cases after wet tumbling. No more being outside with the hose or getting stainless pins in the kitchen sink ;-)

Got my new Area 419 Zero press installed and dies in. Then got the 223 and 6.5CM Redding resizing dies reset for .004-.005” shoulder bumps.
