Mine is still somewhat under construction. Its a 10x12 corner of my shop, insulated, heated, and cooled. I have been wanting to get a decent space where I could load and work on guns year round, but just havent done it. Earlier this year, my father passed away, and I had to have somewhere to keep all of the loading stuff he had, so here it is. The presses were my father's, mine are put up. I just like loading on that old Bair, and I can assure you there isnt a beefier press made this side of a Hollywood.

I'm making progress on my bench. Just need to install some under cabinet lighting on my bench. Any suggestions? Preferably something not hard wired. Also need to mount my Rock Chucker and Luberisizer. I've got the mount from Dillon on the way so that will get remounted. The top of the bench is Brazillian Tigerwood. Gorgeous wood that I got for free from the contractor who remodeled my house. The bench itself is 12 feet long. Towards the other end is my casting production pot and my spray booth for refinishing and powder coating my boolits.

The Bar next to it. Since I've made the sheleves above the bench I won't need to use the bar top to use my scale.

Storage and my other work bench that really needs to be cleaned up.

Been redoing my reload room all weekend and almost got it.

This is what i had. It was good for a few years but i need more workbench space. So i bought another table and turned them both to go against the back wall. It gave me 12' instead of 6. Now im adding as mucb shelving and peg board as i can.

New way

I hadn't noticed that. The blue door is to match the lighthouse theme of the other room. Not Dillon blue but blue just the same.

I finally got my gear set up so that I can get on the bus (30 years late, but who's counting...)

It's a bit barren right now, and I'm sure I'm missing some things.  But at least I can get rolling.

Put the overhead light and shelf up, and mounted the press today.

I plan to mount some T-track for the case trimmer and any other tools I need to temporarily secure.

A friend made the top for his garage bench, then got rid of it.  It's aluminum sheet on top of plywood.  I bought the industrial metal legs and assembled everything.

No where NEAR some of yalls.  But here is my humble bench.

Powder, tools, presses, other components are in the cabinets.  I like the more "clean" look.

Finally have room to have a reloading room, (which my wife call an office). Started this project last weekend and finished it today. I am just now getting into some woodworking basics so carpenters be gentle. I connected 12 2x2 for the top and planned them down, stained and poly'ed them. If I could go back and do it over I would have pocket hole screwed the 2x4s in stead of just going straight through. I also would have planed the 2x2 before putting them together for a tighter fit. I learned a little and have a very functional bench for the "office."

Finished product, minus the lights for the other side and some more powder and primers.

Well done LT. If I where you, I would add some sort of bracing in  the middle of the bottom shelf. It looks likes its warping.

I'm redoing my entire loading station.....rebuilt the bench, new top, added a right wing etc.

I want to add some shelving and storage on the wall behind. I'll be mounting three presses on this bench. A Dillon 650, Lee single stage, and Lee LoadMaster.

I value the memberships opinions in the design of the rest of my project. If you had a bench at this point of construction, how would you finish it all off??? What say you?

NOW

Hey you old crusty cruffler.....gotta love those 03's....

Yep....the old bench was getting a tad, unorganized....driving me nuts.

I want to have shelving on both sides and the middle of the wall with pegboard open for whatever.....think I'll go all the way to the ceiling. Might save the end of the L bench for gun cleaning area.

Thanks for looking

What about a stack of drawers under the corner of your bench with the drawers pointing to the right?  Would be out of the way and you access it without ducking under the bench.

How are you for power outlets?  I always feel like I need another one.

Yeah.....drawers are always a good idea, and often overlooked.....I like it.

I have a six foot power strip and a 4 footer that I will be mounting on the back edge of the bench with the cords coming up through the bench top....can anyone say "hole saw?

I am planning on adding some shelves above the bench, this fall. But, the bench itself was a testing bench for testing security electronics. I grabbed it from work when we were moving to our new office, and they were gonna trash it. The cool thing is that we built in 3 quad receptacles. Kind of a small thing but I like having them to charge my laptop or Ipad/Iphone while I am reloading.

I see you have somewhat mixed storage.  There's a Maxwellhouse can among the Folgers cans!

That looks like a great use of space.  How big is the space, and how big are the benches?

That box has two DC power in's.  One goes to a DC regulator that powers my low primer alarm.  The other runs three regulators: one for LED's mounted on the top of the press, one for the video camera and one for the monitor.  And the camera is for powder checking, it beats having to stand half way up every time to check..  I'll post some better pics if you want later on.

Here's some pics.

DUDE!  I really like your camera idea.  Can you share some details on the camera and display?  (Cool power setup, by the way, but the camera is awesome!)

Yeah, don't know if this is the best place for it so I'll create a thread and link it here in a bit.

Here's the link to the thread for it.

Can't even scratch the surface of the above pics (holy inventory batman!)

Been a while since my last bench shot, and many upgrades ago.

Here is a few pics of the new bench I just built yesterday and transferred all my equipment to last night late lol. New house so I haven't had a chance to make it as amazing as some of your setups!

Brass I use the most goes in these bins.(556,9mm,357,45)

OK, so it is more of a "room". As I am just starting out, and will need to share space on the project table, I needed to make everything removable. Windows face east and south. Forgive the glare. Flammables (primer and powder) are stored so there will never be direct sunlight shining on the cans. Eventually, we will be putting doors on the closet. I store the primers, powder and bullets off the bench that way it forces me to have only one of each out at a time. I only have two types of powder now, but figure it is best to start the process now.
Mostly a big, empty space with empty bins, but based on what I am seeing from everyone else's it is just a matter of time.

Here is a better image of the bench from the manufacturer's website:
