What kind of press is that ? That's kinda what I want to get . I deprime and size then wet tumble . I thing those would be quick for priming , charging and then seating . Anybody have one for sale ?

Hornady Lock and Load AP.
Like most things reloading right now, you have to keep looking - Cabelas, Midsouth, Midway, .... Dillons seem to be around 8+ week backorder, Hornady LnL AP come and go with different vendors..

It may not help anyone, but the Scheel's in Rimrock Mall Billings, Montana is loaded for bear with Dillon presses and accessories. They've got a pretty good stock of Lee's and Hornady stuff too.

Living in a apartment so I have to think small...

Since you can park a truck on a steel case desk I figured it would make a great bench. Craigslist for $30

RCBS partner press for starters. Computer will be gone soon to make more room.

My new dedicated outdoor reloading bench for my Rock Chucker.  I use the RC just to resize rifle brass

Had to cut a clearance hole for the primer catcher, LOL

I really appreciated seeing all the different bench ideas on this site. And after looking and planning and working at it.....and adding my "sponsors".....I am done and so happy with this!  Now I guess I will need help.  I am no rookie to forums, but I cannot figure out how to upload the photos.  And there is no FAQ to read. I've tried all the links I can see.  Someone please help.

You have to host the images on another site. I use www.photobucket.com

After you create an account you will upload the images. After they're uploaded, just copy/paste the links in your reply to the thread. Use the IMG links.

If you still need assistance, email the photos to me and I'll host them for you.

Here's my area.  I'm currently only loading for the .44 Special/magnum, but I'm gearing up for 9mm and .30-06 (Garand).  Reloading quickly turned from a way to save money feeding my Ruger flattop into a hobby all it's own.

Here's my bench.  I like to keep it clean and clutter-free.  The bench top has extra reinforcements that the press screws into.  It is nice and rock-solid.

And storage for ammo and supplies.

I've just started reloading, and I just passed the point where I've broken even vs. factory ammo (including the cost of my equipment and components).

Riddle me this though.  Why do they still call them 2"x4"s and 4"x4"s when they aren't?  Even the 3/4" 4'x8' MDF was 23/32" thick and 49"x97".

ETA: Now I just gotta get that 550 up & running.

Traditionally, dimensional lumber is "sized" based on "wet" dimensions, i.e. the dimensions of the un-dried, un-smoothed raw lumber.  That's a lame answer, but it's unfortunately pretty close to the truth.

Nice-looking bench.  I would seriously consider counter-sinking those nuts on the horizontal carriage bolts, and cutting the bolts off flush.  You ankles will thank you later for the gouges that they don't get

MDF and plywood are sized to fit the "traditional" dimensions, rather than having their actual dimensions listed.  More lameness but that's the truth.

I do not enjoy reloading, it has become a necessary evil for me however. Space is an issue, reloading room, electronics shop and machine shop don't leave much left.

do you have some specs on your die and powder charge unit holder? length, width, material, and hole size by chance?

I don't have a picture of it just yet, but just happened to bag an extra $50 in ikea gift cards, so I thought I'd go look there and see what I could find. I wound up buying a 4 cube "expdit" (a storage "unit"). I have it secured to my wall and it is faiy stable. I'll post pics later tonight.

Made by Inline Fabrication. Pricey, but work well. They have plates for the LNL bushing/dies or standard 7/8"

Wow, I really like those die holders, and will look them up. Better than stacking boxes to the moon someday.  To think I was just coming here to brag about how I found a "Shop light" buried in my closet behind my gun safe. I was going to buy and mount one of those cheap two bulb flourecent deals and found this in the basement. I am going to run its own electric to clean it up, and put all the lights in the room on their own circuit this weekend. Brings some much needed light to my corner of the basement.

Amazing what lighting can do. I managed a welding section of a fabrication shop from 18 to about 23 years old. The shop had a few 100 ton presses along a seldom used back wall, that area was poorly lit. We had a large contract come in so I ended up spending most of the time working with the guys bending steel. Long story short it wasn't until the 3 month project ended that I realized my attitude at work had shifted. Not being able to see adjustment details had a major mental impact on me, I soon fixed that problem with lighting post haste. I am not a clean freak by any stretch, but there seem to be certain human tendencies that can not simply be ignored, bad lighting brings a bad attitude out in me.

Nice style on the lighting fixture

Nope, I tried it once and beside the beer getting warm (same thing happens in the garage while working on cars) from concentrating on the task at hand. I'm more hesitant about drinking or eating anything without washing my hands after handling the components.

Wise choices.  Concentration on the task is really, really important, whether it's plinking loads or near red-line loads, and the chemistry involved in just about every aspect of handloading is unappetizing at best.
