You might call it a humble submission Colt_Sporter, however, it's a very capable set up!

With results like that it's hard to call that humble!

Thanks guys, I still maintain my humble status, many folks posted here have some amazing setups. My press is pretty nice, but she still needs a bit of tweaking. I need to fix the power spillage issue when I lower the tray and purchase a case feeder, but I'm getting there.

I am really happy with the first group though.

FINALLY got around to rebuilding the bench...
OLD bench

deconstructed (aka busted it up)
waterproof/sealed all the walls with KILZ and re-epoxy'ed the floor
used the 2x4 basics bworkbench lit with shelves. All screws etc are included in the lit.
took about 2 hours to build bymyself. Would have been hal;f the time with an extra set of hands.
Used 3/4" MDF and 2x4s

Now it's time to put everything in it's place.
Powerstrips, Presses, Tumblers etc...
ETA
Almost done with the partition from the furnace, tapped out because I want BEER now... 5/8" sheetrock...

Done, now time to get it set back up

be gentle, still a work in progress.
This weekends project.
All the lumber was salvaged and I only paid for the pegboard, rubber pad on top, screws, glue and pegboard organizers.
I am extremely pleased, this will be my reloading setup as well as general workbench (notice all the regular tools, too).
I am very interested in any feedback on how to organize my stuff on the pegboard.
I was thinking left for the reloading and right for the general purpose workbench.

Thanks, they are building alot of houses in my neighborhood right now and I always hit up the crews asking if I can take any scraps (those that fit my needs). They are awesome and tell me as soon as it hits the dumpster its fair game.

I do the same thing, my wife equates it to dumpster time until she figures out the savings over buying new at Home Depot!

The table top on the right folds in for easier storage if space is needed. My brother and myself made this when he came on leave.

Which case trimmer do you prefer? I was looking at both but don't know if i want to shell out the money for the Giraud.

I definitely don't have any regrets about my Giraud purchase.  It has been my only powered-trimmer purchase and is set up for .223.

I use my Wilson lathe trimmer for low-volume (for me) cartridges like .22-250 and .30-06.

Got my first setup up and going, Dillon 650 with most of the fixings. Its pretty simple, but gets the job done. Set up for 45acp, with the dies and conversion kit for .223 in the drawer. Now I need more blue koolaid in the garage a few Thumblers.  Just reinforced the bench top with a few 2x10s to keep the top from flexing when resizing rifle brass when I get around to loading .223. Working in the oil field is a blessing and a curse...

I put drawers under there. They are decently enough sized, I can stack 3 die/conversion kit boxes and probably 5 or 6 deep. 1 side has conversion kits, die boxes a parts of the press not used at the moment and the other has all the manuals for the equipment and my reloading manuals. I can see the need for a serperate shelf for those things later as well as storage space for the other tool heads I plan on setting up.

My reloading area in my shop.  I call it "Area 51".

Here is the "bench".  You can just barely see it is an ancient oak desk, might weigh 250#.

A little ambience, art and music.

And finally, some quickly whipped up storage.

My new bench. just finished.

Took what I had to work with, 6x6 and 4x4 for the legs, 2x6 for the framing, and 3x9 for the top with a sheet of 3/4" plywood on top.

You could park a tank on top of it.

Love everyone's setups, such a huge diversity of compact - extravagant areas. Here are a few quick night (iPhone) shots of what I have been working with. I think this weekend (first weekend off in like 4 months) I will be cleaning the area around my work station. Its tough with a whole '68 Cadillac Sedan Deville in pieces stashed in a 2 car garage along with a monster tool box and another car.

I will update with real pictures and cleaner area when time permits...

May I ask how in the Blue Fuck do you afford a 10,000$ tools box to reload on. That is truly amazing.

At $30 a week you too could own one    I am/was  an automotive tech but went into the sales field for my job so I had to have the monstrosity "flat-bed" towed home. I think it makes a great bench and it seems to match the "blue kool-aid theme"

Something happened at my bench.  (see my previous post in this thread) My SDB turned into another 650!

Now I have one for large primers and one for small primers.  It makes the change over a lot faster.  I shoot about the same amount of 223 and 45acp a week.  I found myself changing over primer systems way too often which really adds on to the time of conversion.  It seems once I changed the primer system over I always had to fiddle around with it to get it to work just right. More so when I changed from large over to small.  Besides that, I convinced myself that in a short time the new 650 will pay for its self.

I can't bring myself to sell my SDB. I loaded many thousands of rounds with that great little tool.  But after loading on a 650, the old SDB seems pretty slow.  Maybe when my son gets some room, he'll want it to load up his ammo on it.

Just finished my first bench using the plans from this thread: Reloading Bench.

Due to limited space, the bench is only 2'x4'.  It's hard to see in the pictures, but the rear horizontal support is attached to a piece of perforated angle steel, which is screwed into the wall studs. Another mod I did was to use a 1/4" steel plate under the press.

I'm in the midst of making some sort of mount for my powder measure and case trimmer. Once mounted,I think I'll just clamp them onto the table.  Anyone else just clamp some of y'alls tools as opposed to directly mounting them?

I glued together a couple of 10x12 pieces of 3/4" plywood and mount my presses to them. I clamp these bases to my workbench at home or at my folks place when I head over there. I need to build a better bench at home so I can do everything there. The cheapo table I'm using now has a broken leg and is only strong enough for decapping and stuff like that.

I live in a really openly-planned townhouse, not a whole lot of spaces to tuck this away. It's in the closet of the room I claimed as my office..I was getting ready to custom-build a bench to go in there, but then I found that one for $139.99 on sale at Harbor Freight and said eh...screw it.

I have the SS Tumbling threads here to thank for that nice red Model B on the lower shelf. Now I just need to pore over the manuals I picked up and figure out some first loads to try

edit: pic wasn't showing up
