This is the grip I want to have on the knife, be it a folder or a fixed. Called a "Hammer Grip," I prefer the blade down, edge in.

Right hand accessing fixed blade carried at 1:00 IWB-A.

Fingers find handle.

Palm grasps the grip.

Make a fist.

Yank the knife from the scabbard.

Blade down, edge in, fist, ready to stab.

Left hand accessing fixed blade carried 1:00 IWB-A.

Fingers find grip.

Fingertips grab grip.

Pull knife from scabbard.

Once knife is free, fingertips roll into a fist, taking the knife into the palm.

Fist tightens around grip.

Blade down, edge in, ready to stab.

Left hand accessing waved folder in left hand front pocket.

Fingers find knife. It is carried tip up, blade forward in pocket.

Thumb goes between handle and pants, fingertips touch the pocket clip.

Knife is pulled from pocket. I twist the blade outwards to catch the "wave."

Wave catches as knife is pulled from pocket, opening blade.

Opening. This is done as speed.

Knife flips open. Fingertips are holding the handle at this point.

Fingertips roll into a fist, taking knife with them.

Fist is established around knife handle.

Done, blade down, edge in, ready to stab.

Kershaw Military Boot Knife, "Waved" Spyderco Endura, Glock 17, Kahr PM9, Surefire E2D, Nitecore PD10.

Sweet! Is that one Jason Knight made in collaboration with Wilson Combat?

My first ESEE.

TacDoc  [Team Member]
I just finished this one today

7" length, 3" edge.

Damascus steel, buffalo horn scales, green spacers, stainless mosaic pins and lanyard tube. It just needs a mirror polished 30 degrees edge and a good leather sheath... but this will be another project. My hands are sore.

Any info on the knife in the lower right corner? Nice engraving work.

I'm just getting started in the blade game but it's quickly becoming addicting.

Cold Steel SRK:

Daily carry fixed blades (alternating depending on what I feel like carrying):

Camillus Cuda Black Ops:

ESEE/Ka-Bar collaboration blade, the Eskabar fitted with ESEE Izula scales:

Daily carry folder, SOG Pentagon Elite I:

On old beat up VZ-58 bayonet that had a broken tip. I tried my hand at adding one and making an edge (it had non) using only a file. Came out pretty well for my first try I think:

Many more to come! My "to get" list for blades is now longer than my gun list.
