And Italy.

They will probably sell the rights maybe tooling to someone else.  ITAR will be an issue for US made tooling going elsewhere but can happen, maybe 3rd party involvement.

Market subdivision can only go so far.  BerettaUSA could've built a market - just like CZ - via demonstrating their committment to support the brand by leveraging the ARX's already developed multi caliber feature & providing conversion kits.

The seeming "play it safe" strategy whenever things don't scream out of the gate isn't confidence inspiring.  I was really jonesing for the full feature support for this rifle & hoping a semi 200 would follow later.  The platform's future seems unknown, & now I can only hope the company will surprise us with more in store for the ARX line, preferrably sooner than later.

Just checked my academy and they still have one for 879 , might have thought about at the previous sale price 799?, Doesn't look as bulky in person. I guess the real downfall of it all is that for people like me who don't have racks for ar15s it's hard to justify it over a top tier are setup, maybe if it was in a pistol setup I would think about as I'm just not ready to make the jump to a sbr

One of mine was marked $879 but the price was $799.  The salesman told me all the Academy stores sold them for $799, that $879 was an old price.  If you change your mind you may ask them about the $799 price.....this was this past week.

The rack tag on mine that I bought less than 4 days ago was $879.
I paid $799+tax.
Just ask them to check the price. I'd bet you a doughnut it's $799.

The price at GrabAGun went up to $1,114.99... Still no stock though.

Why would they adjust their price on a discontinued rifle that they don't have in stock?

Well, didn't Beretta state they were not discontinued (not that that means anything)?  Maybe TN is producing a batch........with or without any changes.

Look good, but I wonder how the extended length works with the mechanics of field stripping, not to mention any changing of sides.

Ain't gonna lie though, I'll probably get one.

I used to have one that was made several years back by someone on eBay...to field strip on that charging handle...you had to manually push back on the BCG to clear the extended CH to go into take down mode....

I never had a problem with the factory CH honestly...

2nd observation today...have you all seen Gunbroker prices today...daaaang....they went up....

That's what I figured. Pulling back on the BCG while you rotate the CH in would allow for a longer CH.

Nexus is very responsive. Here is his reply on the CH field strip:

It disassembles and assembles exactly as the factory original would. No interference at all.

I see it as generally the same, but not exactly the same. The extended length of the CH would prevent that.

There must be a level of demand out there, or else the sellers are overrating their position.

I'll go with overstating their position for $500, Alex. Not one of those auctions has any bids.

Best mod ever...I would highly recommend using a double side sticky tape to attach vs what is supplied with it. Overtime that friction pad will wear off.

Yeah, I've taken it off & put it back on once or twice.
Already noticed that eventually would happen.
I'll say tho that I can't believe just how much of a difference this one simple thing makes.
Not only does it look great it actually works.
I really can't express the improvement it has made.
I'm considering ways to permanently attach it to the stock.
These should be factory Beretta.

Well, I picked up my second one yesterday. It cost me more than I wanted because I got it from Kentucky Gun Co.

It was made in 2018 and has a lower serial number than my first one that I got in 2014. It has the slightly better two stage trigger, but it's still not great.

Also, the manual still has the misprint saying that the barrel is 1/9 twist even though the barrel is stamped 1/7.

This is the only gun that I've ever bought a duplicate of, I guess that makes me a fan.
Link Posted: 2/10/2019 12:55:03 PM EDT

Yes the serial numbers are not sequential with Beretta.

First of all, Thank You for the kind words. If at any time the mounting strips begin to fail to maintain Riser position, please send me an email or IM and I’ll gladly ship a set of pre-cut replacement strips, free of charge.

Thank you...I was looking for a permanent solution to it...double side sticky works well...seriously...besides grinding off the A2 pistol grip nub...the cheek riser is the ticket mod for the ARX100.

By design, you can run the ARX dry.  Try that with an AR & see how long it lasts.

Look at the charging handle on this ARX-160 A3. > https://www.instagram.com/p/BrI7FkvnbNR/

It's different (bigger)... With all the complaining about the ARX-100 charging handle I wonder why we never got these improved versions?

I've been searching trying to find newer pictures of the ARX-160 A3 and I'm still not seeing any roll pin in the hole under the back end of the top rail.

I've thought about buying the lower rail and the charging handle knob quite a few times, I just haven't found the need for them yet.

I get along fine with the standard charging handle and I've never been a fan of VFGs.

To its credit, when full of sand, a dry ARX is what you want, it's like a modern AK, barrel lash and all. There was a Youtube video of some guy dumping sand on it repeatedly. I am sure the trigger was much smoother after the next cleaning.

I agree on the looks as well... Though if I had a need for the lower pic rail I would get it despite the looks.

It kind of looks cool with the SBR barrel with sound suppressor and the short BCM VFG.

Maybe you asked the wrong person? Similar to what others are posting, 2 stores I went to had them marked at $879, but both were really $799 after they looked on the computer. One initially tried to tell me $879, but I told them my understanding, they looked further and came back with $799.
