It's a front sight adjustment tool but I think it has other uses that I haven't figured out.

If anyone else knows what this tool is used for I would sure like to know.

I suppose you could use it like shown in the video but the tool was not made for that purpose.

My latest iteration.  Just Magpul Pro rear BUIS and Magpul front BUIS

Probably going to go with an Aimpoint PRO in the near future.

Very light as it is now.

You should put an MBUS Pro on front as well, they look really nice on the ARX. The Pros still sit a little high when flipped up but they are much better than the Beretta sights.

The descriptions on their site say that the front sight will work with any rear sight and that the rear sight will work with any front sight. So I'm assuming that they are standard AR height.

That's correct.  They are even listed on the Zahal site s an AR accessory.  I like the MBUS Pro sights, though I tend to think poly material sights are more robust then steel for impacts, but I wouldn't mount them on a gas block rail.

I don't disagree with you on that. I think the polymer sights are more resistant to impacts and  more likely to hold close to zero as well after an impact. I just think the Magpul Pros look right on the ARX.

I would probably be using Troy low profile sights if they sold a combination I actually liked.

I think beretta is gonna shot this rifle in the foot though because I can't find a new one anywhere under $1700 and at that price I would pass on it.

I paid $1799.99 not including tax. I had $250.00 in Cabela's gift cards though.

My ARX was one of the early ones that shipped without the roll pin under the rail too.

There are several online retailers who carry it for that price +/- but you have to catch them as soon as they are in stock because they sell out quickly at that price.  This means watching those sites like a hawk or (much more practical IMHO) signing up at those sites for e-mail notification when they are in stock.

Tire-kickers need not apply... at that price, you need to be ready to place an order as soon as you receive that e-mail notification.

Where at that price? The only place I've seen them that low was botach and they were sold out by time I saw the advertisement.

I believe he is suggesting that if you SBR your ARX then you/one should put a suppressor on it to really giving it that final touch.

So had an interesting first outing. It ran fine on the standard setting with wolf 62gr military classic but would not extract all the way with regular wolf 55 gr. Once I put it on non standard it shot fine. Did not get to zero since my crazy asshole neighbors called the cops on us for shooting but hopefully will be able to do that next year when I get back from Europe. But so far from just dicking around with it I really love this rifle. Low recoil and really clean shooting. The trigger is not as bad as people make it out to be.

The bbl kit is ~$400, & comes with a slick carry case + steel STANAG mag.  It's also ported correctly.  Much easier than DIY.

You got a decent price.  They seem to be going for $1500 & up these days.

Oh no! It's missing the roll pin under the rail!

It must be an ARX from the first run.

You can fill this out and get Beretta to send you the roll pin and a free steel mag. > http://www.berettasupport.com/applications/php_arx100/

You will want to check your barrel extension as well since it may or may not be defective. > http://www.berettasupport.com/arx100/index.htm
