Which one, there are two different ones - one is a midland murs only, the other is a yeasu vx7r with flex antenna for kit mounting.

LArifleMAN,
I saw your pics on page 100 of the old gear porn thread.  The gear looks good but I would definitely move that dump pouch away from above your pistol.  That could cause a big problem.  ...unless you are removing that dropleg all together because you will only be issued a rifle on deployment.

I planned on it. We are getting pistols for the deployment, they issued them to us a month ago specifically for that reason.

HSGI Warlord v3 bravo
ATS med pouch(small)

ATS Padded War Belt
ATS War Belt Insert
Safariland 6377
HSGI Double Mag Pouch
Tactical Tailor Knife/Flashlight Pouch

I plan on getting a dump pouch.  And maybe a HSGI drop leg holster platform.  I run a Safariland 6004 at work.  And i would like to keep things similar.  I plan on running this rig a while before i decide on the drop leg to see if i like it better.  and if i do, i will go with a Safariland 6285 at work.

snapped a quick photo of my vest, my doublestar AR15 and and my Sig Sauer P220 pistol.  In the vest i have 12 AR mags, 2 Pistol mags, a flashlight (in the pistol mag pouch closest to the zipper), and a multitool in the utility pouch.

Not very complex but works okay. I wish there was some way to get the warlord attached to the IBA so it came off easier, also when combined with the assault pack its an awful lot of straps on the shoulder area. Sucks.
Also, is there a retrofit cummberbund system for the Interceptor?

IBA
ACH
Oakley M Frames & Boots
TT drop leg, holster
HSGI Warlord
issue flight gloves
random pistol shingles.

If it looks like it's a little sloppy fitting, it actually fits better on me.

sure I will try to help you

the PC I bought from a  guy just back from Iraq a few years ago, Its a RCAS.  the front mag panels are  the blackhawk triple pouch that holds 2 mags each.. I have a double open top double mag shingle on my left side  because they are faster and its the 1st place i reach for during a reload. on it I have 2  single 1911 mags holder. sometimes they carry mags or flashlights depending.

at my rear hips I have  a USMC  SDS GP/FAK pouches on each side. the right side is  a IFAK the left hold misc. gloves, batterries, extra mags or whatever I need.  upper chest is 3 1911 mag pouches.

at my right rear behind the IFAK is a SDS  GP pouch to carry  anything else I may need. I remove it  if I have no need for it

I carry 2  chemlights in the molle webbing on my chest for night marking

Horrible iPhone picture until I can get better ones with someone else's camera (mine bit the dust a while back):

Stag 2H AR (MI BUIS, Magpul ASAP)
Glock 19 (Streamlight TLR-1 C4 LED)
Peltor TacSport EarPro
Eagle/SKD Universal chest rig (contains eight 30rd P-Mags and four Glock 19 mags, map, emergency poncho)
Safariland 6280 holster
Camelbak 1.5L
No-name mechanics gloves
Blue Force Gear UDC Sling (HK hook) and sling swivel adapter (front of AR, that rubber band on my handguards is there to keep it from flopping around)

Not pictured are my LAPG Operator pants and BDU pants (bought them for the police academy but had to quit due to a GSW so I've been using them when I go shooting and I love 'em) and plain old BDU belt. I use my regular leather belt under the BDU belt and it actually gives very good support to the 6280 holster, at least until I can get a real gun belt.

I plan on adding a med pouch and supplies, some more stuff to the AR (Aimpoint, rail, VFG among the top things) and perhaps a general admin pouch or something to fill out the other side of the molle webbing? I'd also like to do the shock/bungee cord mod for the two center mag pockets.

so far i like it.  i will admit that i haven't had a lot of time to run it.  busy work schedule and dealing with a divorce.

i run my AK mags in it.  and if i put 8 loaded AK mags in it, it is really heavy and needs a counter balance.  which is my next step.(hydration)

im running 6x 30rnd x39 mags in my old warlord( old enough to not even have the admin fastex on the front) ...got the hydration pouch on sale from HSGI. countered the weight pretty good with a full 3liter in it. The thing is huge and will hold 2 3liter bladders easy! i can run 8 mags but thats alot of weight up front.

only down fall is the damn straps, it is a bitch to toss on fast.

1x maxpedition cocoon( may swap spots with the ummp)

1xHSGI ummp 2x47' mags- may put it next to the BHI, stacked TT nade pouches- hold 2 x izzy dressings and my CAT

kbar TDI and pin on compass.

HSGI hydration pouch

BHI compass/strobe

line one is osoe cobra with BOK, 2x pistol mags and my eagle drop leg. need a dump pouch.

im still working kinks on whats inside, how it rides.

I was jogging with it each AM, but found it bounces a tad to much on my "gut" and i get running cramps from it. Hey im trying to go from LSHD to HSLD

i havent tried, i believe they would go apeshit. i know one of our snipers uses a couple MC things, but hes a sniper lol.

this is just a personal rig for the time being.

I can agree with both but I think action shots of the gear being used should be acceptable and by used I mean overseas pics, training, classes, ranges etc etc. not just standing in your back yard with battle rattle and rifle in hand.

My wife would never wear my gear ...she would tell me " im not wearing that sh*t,its heavy and smells like death"...lol

Yaesu

Hey I have a Yaesu vx-7R that I just picked up.  I don't have my tech license yet but I am studying. I noticed the extended antenna on your Yaesu.  Forgive my Noob-ness, but what is that antenna(model number etc.?)  And do you notice dramatic reception performance. Also do you use your Yaesu for Hamming or for unit to unit comm's?  Thanks in advance for any advice you could give.

Well, I should probably start positng here again since I finally got moved over to the USA.

I started sorting out my gear and got some shelving which I figured would hold all my gear. Turns out that it doesnt even hold a third

Next job to paint the walls

I got the multicam sorted though!!!!

Its a flexable antenna on an antenna extension (forget which kind).  I use that model for everything, ham, scanning and unit to unit.  Get your tech, comms are just below first aid in necessity.  Its a good radio for what I want it to do and can take a beating.
