Nice collection of guns you have there though. I'm a wee bit jealous!

Well, I think it's a great idea since many people are reluctant to order a $1500+ pistol sight unseen. Too bad Florida is a bit too long a drive to look at a gun for me

As usual, a fantastic selection of high class 1911s!!!  Thanks for the peek.

I wish more gun stores would realize that these high end guns would sell if the customers can only see them. As a prior poster commented, if you can't see them before hand a customer is rather hesistant to part with that much money.  However, when they are right there, live and in person-so to speak , it makes the buying decision much easier.

I sent you an IM - I have a Kimber Gold Combat bought new, maybe 25 rounds through it, from back before they started putting firing pin safeties in them.  I have just placed it with a FFL for sale down in Mt Pleasnt SC.

Baer barrels are made by Kart out of carbon steel.  The barrel hood's usually polished white, but the rest of the barrel is blued.

That Jim Wilson special is pretty slick loooking.  Looks like Ed Brown's headed in the right direction.

Great Pistols!!! he

In my opinion, a light/laser rail is a prerequisite for a home defense pistol!!.

I agree with this.  However, I'm not interested in a rail on my 1911s simply because I'd rather use something with higher capacity for home defense.

This thread is making me slobber on my keyboard, and that Vickers up towards the top is making my debit card have seizures in my wallet.

I like your "shop" threads, kind of a behind the scenes peek.

Oh and the pics are cool too.

Now, how about a quick rundown of those ARs on the wall.....

Very nice selection there

How about the Springfield Armory EMP (9mm 1911)?

What's your opinion on that?

MSRP?

Leave it to Colt to put a fricking Bo-Mar on a so-called "combat" gun.

I'm a Colt fan, but God, do they make it hard sometimes due to some truly boneheaded decisions (like discontinuing the Gunsite Special).

I'd give a kidney to have a store like yours in town.  If we could only have half of what you've shown and what's on that back wall...*sigh*...Well, I'll just say that it would make Tucson a better place.

Nice toys.

If I were forced to carry a 1911 on duty, it would be that 10-8.

I like those a LOT.

How is the profile?  Would you say they are lower profile or about the same as a Kimber Custom II stock grips?

Thanks for any info!

I sent an e-mail about the grips to the address they have posted on their "Contact Us" page, but it bounced back

I use that one all the time to get in touch with John.
I read the rejection e-mail a little closer and it says it was rejected for SPAM lol.  I guess he blocked GMail or something.
