I know these aren't uber rare, but I get the idea very few of these baby eagles were produced with this nice matte chrome finish. Picked up the fullsize on gunbroker within 1 hour of auction listing 2 years ago and stumbled upon the compact yesterday at my favorite gun shop.


Any ideas on the rarity of these matte chrome Baby Eagles?

I can't speak to the rarity, but my brother owned one of those for a while and competed with it. That was a nice gun, and he did very well.

I'm jealous. Does the compact have the frame mounted safety/cocked and locked, or is it DOA?
