I picked this M up for $200.00 but the stock just plain sucks ass.
I had a scarred-up $5.00 Chi-Com fiberglass stock I painted a couple years back poked in my stock box. I figured what the heck and got to work on it. I fitted it for the mag well and installed a Delran spacer to fill the space the front of the OEM mag fit in. I did not bother with filling in the bayonet cut-out. I touched the paint up a bit, slapped a 20 round Hungarian mag in it, and Lo-And-Behold....."Bubba Tiger". It turned out OK and is a 100% improvement over the M stock. The good thing is all I have to do to remove the "Tiger" stock/magwell and put it back into the M stock if I sell it. |
