I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Chinese SKS from Classic Arms.  While I wait, I had a question...when referring to all numbers matching on these SKS rifles, are the parts all factory original to that rifle, or are they refurbed and restamped like most surplus Mosin Nagants, which while possessing matching numbered parts, have been rebuilt at least once unless a capture rifle or such.  I have heard that many of the Russian SKS rifles were refurbished and are stamped with the slashed box, but have not heard much about the Chinese, specifically these lots that appear to be early versions coming out of Albania.

my chinese SKS is an all matching 5 digit SN 'ghost' (no arsenal marks). All parts are correct for a very early chinese SKS and appear to be original (with the exception of the rear sight which is russian, but this too is likely original to the rifle given the number of russian parts used on the early ones)

Got it from AIM a few months ago, moderate finish wear and the stock is mediocre but its a nice shooter

The one I shot is a real nice shooter. One ragged hole with 5 shots at 50 yrds with open sights. I replaced the trigger springs with Wolff and polished the sear.

I was happily surprised to see that I received an all-matching Sino-Soviet.  A little rough on the exterior, but all internals and the bore look great...can't wait to get it out on the range.  I guess I just had some fascination wondering if the rifle I received was the same as when it left the factory in terms of the included parts.  Mosins and such are all matching, but the parts are force-matched and re-stamped after refurb and didn't know if the same held true for these recent Chinese (or more appropriately Albanian) imports.
