You can't date anything but a /26\ that way. |

As others said, factory 26 is the only one the formula works to determine build date. The many dozen other factories have not/will not provide s/n - date information.
Principle reason these cannot be C&R. Eventually these 70s - 80s SKSs will be 50 years old.....not for a while. |
