.
Nice job.
I finally finished my FSB and hider. Its a Stoll shorty I made. I also filled the receiver holes with trigger pins. No high speed/low drag parts, just my own frugal "Cal custom" ideas.

Oh My!
How did you get that MIAD on there? Very good looking rifle there.
ETA: nevermind, google is my friend...

Anybody have experience with the Tapco T6, is it any good? Does the T6 take other stocks like the magpul MOE's and ACS stocks?
Have one on my norinco ak (tapco) and the magpul ctr fit, and very snug. I took it off without to much trouble the tapco stock slides right off and has a bit if wobble never tried the ace
Spent about 2 and a half hours converting my dimpled Saiga 223 today. It was my first conversion and really easy. Most everything went to plan. The biggest pain was getting that spot weld off the trigger guard. Other than that it was a piece of cake.
Parts:
US Warsaw pact stock
US grip––––––––––NOT ATTACHED IN THE PHOTO JUST LAYING THERE!!!!
Tromix FCG (US)
Still waiting on a Solar Tactical grip wrap, Dinzag Arms Bullet guide and FCG retailing plate.
FYI a dremil is almost the greatest tool ever for this, couldnt have done it without it.
Next on the list is a trip to SJgunguy24 at Valkyrie Arms for a front end conversion 103 style and possibly a weld job on my now empty holes.
My saiga12 a lot time and money spent on this shotgun. From painting it, to HK sights, rails, trigger job and ace stock to the shiny skull on my charging handle. Will take a better detailed picture of it.

Is it still necessary to file the mag catch lever for the military mags? I haven't see anyone else make any mention of this. Where exactly do you file?

It depends. On all of the 5.45 conversions I've done it hasn't been required. On all of the 5.56 rifles I've done it's been required, and only a few of the 7.62's have needed it.
But you really won't know until you get your specific rifle.
Anyone else encountered round front trunnion 5.45 saigas?

It takes very little filing to get the stock Saiga mag release to work with "standard" AK mags.

Is this necessary for the 5.45 model?
Wow - what kind of scope is that?! And mount?

ETA: Very nice build - you've inspired me to get a .308 Saiga.
haha, thanks!
That's a Posp from Kalinka Optics. Mount is part of the scope. It's a very good shooter!

Very nice traditional build....I much prefer that to the other versions,eg Saginov....etc.
Thought I posted already, but disappeared.
