the polish surplus from aim are gtg. I don't trust any of the new prod ak steel mags i.e. Korean.

The G-M mags do have a "no questions asked" full-replacement warranty, though. I don't know of any other new-production steel mags being imported (aside from the Koreans). |

Looks like those Bulgarian mags are noted as having polymer followers. I wonder if the Hungarian's are steel or polymer followers?

Received first order of the Hungarian's and they appear to be extremely well built, as good as the best steel AK mags I've seen. They have steel followers and are brand new in wrapper just as described.
They are not refurbs that have been repainted. I can tell the difference as I know what it looks like when you paint over grind marks, etc (perfomed during refurb to remove rust). You can always also tell on the inside if the paint doesn't match coating on outside. One thing I do find strange is that there are not markings or any way to determine they are Hungarian or from any other country of origin. No big deal as I am happy with them. |
