How do these perform reliability wise?

I like mine. I only used it once.  Sending 75 round down range produces some burning cosmoline smell. Plus it is heavy to lug around.  I have it just to say I have one and it pisses off democrats.

Pissing off anti-gunners, the reason to have a drum mag

I have 2 back loaders, and 2 top loaders. None of them have given me any trouble. I would hold out for better prices, they seem a little high now.

No reliability issues with mine out of my WASR, any reliable drum for under $100 is a bargain IMHO. Based on what I've read just don't over wind them. Fully loaded they weight a ton and kinda interfere with my left supporting arm when I'm gripping the handguard so I've recently tried supporting the bottom of the drum and keeping my elbow close to my sides to support the weight when it's full. Ridiculous, pointless, and fun.

I have one but I have never used it, it's stupid heavy.

I'll probably buy another just in case though.

I have 2 that I bought within the past 2 years. They are well made and I have had zero issues with either of them. Had one out today on the Romy AK build and it worked flawlessly.  Bump fired all 75 into a big mud puddle lol.

They are also very easy and fun to load.

FYI when the Chinese made "Romanian' backloading drums came out they were selling new for $75 but they seem to be drying up, last one I saw available from an online dealer was $120.

They have performed fine for me in a variety of eastern bloc aks.
