These are probably the best and cheapest option. You just stick it in any milsurp 30rd mag when you need to for hunting. |

I have a couple of Tapco 10-rounders that I use for bench shooting. I haven't used them enough to say they're as problem-free as the 30s, but I haven't have any issues thus far.

The best ones are the Chinese mags,look on ebay and gunbroker.

I have a couple of the steel 5-rd Chinese mags. Function is fine, but insertion sucks on every AK I have. They seem to be a bit too large.
For a 5/10rd mag I would prefer the Tapcos over my experience with the Chinese mags. When I hunt using a bike the AK is actually very handy and I don't mind it getting beat around. I use a 4x PSO and carry an extra mag. WASR shoots around 2-3MOA with Prvi SP, fine for bucks out to 200yd. I rarely take shots beyond that even with my .243/.270.

Thanks for replies. I guess I'll check ebay for chinese, or next time I'm at Bud's I'll look for a tapco. As I mentioned, my steel 10 rd works great, I would just feel better with an extra on my person.

Try the Korean 10 rounders. Early buzz is they are GTG.
