Not trying to corner the market,just figured get all I could at the best price for a mag I will need/use in the future. I did the same thing with 45rd 5.45x39 bakelite mags

Anyone try trimming the followers on the 10rd mags to see how may extra they hold?
Back in the day, trimming 1 inch off the follower of an AK 5 round mag yielded a 10rd capacity. I'm guessing that doing the same thing would get 15-17 rds.... Mick Quote HistoryQuote HistoryQuoted:

I don't know the answer to that question, but bear in mind that most 5-round mags are really 10-round mags that are limited. I don't think that's true of other magazine capacities, unless you're talking about a 10/30 or 20/30.

yep. gone foe awhile
folk's make fun of Tapco but my M85 runs like a top with them. $6.95. I have about 30 steel and 50 Tapco. what can I say.......tapco's work in mine.
