How about 10- 30 rnd european/chinese mags. The KCI mags are junk....and drums are dumb.

What is the difference in the Eastern European Military Surplus Steel Magazines and the Korean mags?

If you own an RPK, then you gotta have drums for it. Otherwise stick with comblock steel mags over the Korean ones.

What do you want them for? Starting to build up a collection of magazines? or looking for something neat/fun?
Stay away from Korean mags. Get surplus 30 round steels for building up your stockpile. Get the drum for fun. If you are putting gear together? Look into circle 10's, bakelites, or other lighter mags. |

I recently purchased a top loading drum from SGAmmo and fired it. Definitely built for a fixed position or RPK setup. Would not be humping the drum on a patrol. If I did, I'd give to the guy with a bigger rifle to use as fire support.
However one can't pass up a good deal like SGAmmo had. Probably be my only drum, but I do have plenty of magazines. Nothing like having diversity in my magazine portfolio |

Korean mags are shit and will rust out on you in the next decade. The 75rd top loading drum will be passed down generation to generation until your family is out of existence.
Korean mags are thinner, shit welds, and rust when you look at them. |
