It is possible, as they do not have the steel feed lips like the black waffle mags; translucent polymers were never able to be made as strong as opaque polymers either.
If you're starting to see a feed lip crack or feeding issue, I'd worry, spreading not so much. |

Has anyone experienced any failures of or with these mags? Too bad they didnt put metal feed lip inserts in these. My only guess as to why is that the type of polymer might not have been able to have held up as well at the feed lips if thinned out to sandwitch a metal insert.
