Ordered 10 of these, because the deal seemed so good. ($17.95 ea.). I was not disappointed. They came in packaged real nice (double boxed), and other than having been coated with the omni-present, Tito era machine oil, are in perfect condition. I'd like to try them out, but the range is covered in about 2 feet of snow. Get some at this price while you can.

Agree Alexei, they are a good deal.  Were these the unissued ones?

I got a couple from them as well.  They also had used ones for $4 less but I figured for such little difference in price, just get the new ones.  Alexei's description about the mags having the Tito era machine oil is so correct! LOL  I've always referred to it as "East Bloc Machine Oil".  Love the smell of the good old days as that same smell was also present in every surplus pistol I've bought from the Cold War Era.

Yes - they are the minty ones at that price. I should have mentioned, these all come with "limiters" installed.  Some sort of wacky wire loop (apparently made from Socialist shirt hangers) inside the spring assembly to limit the capacity.  (Bloomberg must have visited the Kremlin on the way to Sochi).  Anyway, 5 seconds with wire cutters remedied that.

I was able to load 30 rounds no problem.  BHO feature worked well and yes, lots of East Bloc Oil.

So, these are military grade/GTG/etc?

I don't want to feel like a chump if these are for the commercial market or whatever. :(

I'd order a few, but they won't ship to CO even with the coat hanger "limiter" in them. Stupid fucking Democrats here.

They're not just stupid in Colorado.  Pretty much stupid anywhere you find 'em.  Usually under a rock ..........

I ordered 15 of the new ones then a few weeks later there were none available and I ordered about 30 used ones.  I was expecting the cosmoline to be thick but OMG.  Literally some of these mags take me 45 minutes to clean.  I had a 24 shift on guard duty the other day and I brought all the used ones planning on getting all the cosmoline off of them.  I took a 3 hour nap but other than that, I pretty much never stopped and  still didnt finish. However Im just down to 5 mags left, so Ill probably pick a TV show to binge watch this weekend while I finish my last BHO mags.

I got so many funny looks from people when they saw me using a hair dryer on empty mags lol. The sad thing is how few senior NCOs and warrants even knew what I was doing.  'Professional Soldiers' my ass.

Mine were in good condition and, as others have mentioned, thoroughly coated in cosmoline. Took a Sunday afternoon to clean them up and I'm pretty happy with them.

I was happy with my 10 as well. Shitloads of cosmoline! I took them all apart and let everything soak overnight in a tub with gasoline in it, and all that stuff is pretty much melted away by morning. Very little wiping required after that. Then I set all the parts out on a big piece of cardboard, let dry, spray everything with a coat of M1 lube, then reassemble.

Any word on if/when SGA will be getting more of these?
