There's nothing hard about removing the taper pins of you have a set of solid punches. I take a punch a few sizes bigger to get the pin even with the edge of the hole and then finish driving it out with the appropriate size. Forgive me for the size of the punch is escaping me at the moment.
OR... You can cut it down with a side grinder and be done with it. |
