If you want to remove or install a URX barrel nut you need to buy the wrench or send it for someone to install. You'll definitely need one. The teeth are different than a regular barrel nut and armorer's wrench. And the newer barrel nut is aluminum, so I wouldn't try making one unless you can do it really precisely with a CNC machine or the like. Being off just a little will destroy it.
Maybe a generous soul on this site will let you borrow one? |
