Star wars is space, space = light weight
With that lower, I would machine out the low areas on the mag well, before the gloss white paint. Agree with small parts staying as is, for contrast. Stick a black mag in a white cutout magwell, would look good. We built a "Stormtrooper" JK at work. Everything white. |

The Fett theme is not too garish
If you wanted to something more than just a paint job but I don't know how that would work with your parts. Something like the Rebel blasters in Return of the Jedi.

I never paid attention to the Rebel rifles. Interesting.
Regarding other weapons in the SW universe, several have an almost steampunk-ish quality.that looks good on screen, however looks horrible up close. |

Someone should be building a Mauser C96 pistol... That is what Han Solo's blaster is based on.
