So I have my new AR15, I decided to go with an eBay handguard this time. For the love of God do not buy an eBay handguard. Not milspec and just yeah...

Anyway I am trying to decide which handguard to get to replace it. Here is what I have narrowed it down to.

http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Odin_Works_KMod_Forend_Key_Mod_p/odin-f-km.htm
http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Diamondhead_V_RS_T_KeyMod_Handguard_p/ddh-2215.htm
http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Samson_Evolution_Rail_p/sam-evo-rail.htm#pr-header-back-to-top-linkm
http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Midwest_Industries_12_SSK_Key_Mod_Handguard_p/mi-ssk12.htm#ReviewHeader

Those are the four choices, I will take recommendations or just which you recommend out of the four. Looking for decent quality and reliable brand (which I know all those are).

Here is my AR with the current handguard:

Thanks guys

ALG 12" is on sale at primary arms right now. That would be my pick.

I went with a BCM Keymod.  Buy once cry once.  I wanted a non-indexing barrel nut.  Easier to torque.  The BCM is a perfect tight fir with an anti move pin.  I got it on ebay for about half price at $120.

None of my attachments are M-LOK all are Keymod, and personally I'm not a fan of the tube style like that specific one.

All the options in the original post are fine enough. Pretty much pick one you like. Here is a rail from Seekins that is another option.

Aero Precision also has some nice rails to look at as well.

I was looking at both of those and I really like them. Its hard to make a decision, especially after being burned so hard.

Burned? On eBay? Never heard of such atrocities!

I'm looking at the 14.5" POF renegade m-lock rail. It weights 8.8oz and comes with a heat sink battle not to keep the handguard cool. I've seen it around for $170.

Just curious, what problems did you run into with the eBay rail?

Geissele or ALG.  Th quality is outstanding.

Of your choices listed, the MI.

Give SLR a look, they have a good non-indexing barrel nut and clamping system...

BTW, the diamondhead rails that I have installed for other folks, have a nice feeling in he hand (I guess because of the profile) but are considerably heavy for what they are.

I went with Matrix free float handguards that I got from Chandler Hardwoods.  I'm really happy with them.

It was more than likely an airsoft rail. Bunch of idiots on there marketing airsoft stuff to unaware AR owners.

Then again, I have an item or 2 on my AR that some would consider airsoft equipment.

IMO one can NEVER go wrong with any MI rail.  I have over a dozen on rifles from 5.56 to .475 TREMOR.  They hold up, they are light, they work.  I see no reason to personally use any other rail.

I like the MI gen 3...

They are small and easy to hold. My new goto handguard

I agree with Smitty.  I had one of the original VRS handguards and the thing was really heavy.  I ended up swapping it for an ALG.  I have a Midwest Industries handguard on a different rifle and I love it.  It's super light and my accessories went right on without a hitch.

I love my Diamondhead VRS-T.  It is very well made, super comfortable to hold, and they have versions with or without keymod.  I have the non-keymod setup with a Faxon Gunner light weight barrel and it is one of the best handling AR's I own.
