I have never built an upper. This will be my first. I picked a 16 inch Stealth. So I am looking for any advise on how to get the most out of this barrel on a budget(divorce lawyer taking my money). I think I will do a tower front site and midlength handgaurds. Any advise you can give would be appreciated.

Build another upper around this barrel with inexpensive parts instead of taking another rifle apart. Buy a blemished upper receiver or a used one in the EE (with or without M4 feed ramps depending on the barrel extension you selected), order a gas block/gas tube/A2 flash hider/crush washer/A2 flash hider from LaRue, find a used or inexpensive 12-15" free-float rail such as a UTG Pro/Troy/ALG. Assemble with some Aeroshell grease and use the BCG and CH from another rifle until you can buy one for this upper. Congrats on winning a barrel! Do what you want, but this is what I am doing with the PredaTar barrel that I won last week.

A good not cheap but not expensive option would be to get a Aero M4E1 upper and 15in handguard combo from Schuyler for $200, a cheap mil spec or BCM mod 4 CH for $12 or $40 and a VG6 muzzle device for $55 all from Schuyler.  If you don't want to opt for the fancy muzzle device, pick up a cheap one from somewhere else.  Buy a Toolcraft BCG for $92 from WC Armory.  Get a SLR Gas block with .450 spacing from SLR for $35 and one of his gas tubes for $15 unless you opted for the expensive Larue gas block.

You could always sell the barrel to me instead.  I would gladly trade you a new 16in BA barrel and upper for your barrel!
