They have a $199 special upper on their site this week. I just orderd the $219 special. I have a spare lower and bolt group that could use it

Well they certainly hired someone who is very colorful with their wording in their descriptions, that alone would throw up a bright red flag.

I have this one and run it silenced. So far so good. I havent seen any quality control issues.

The upper I ordered arrived today. Very happy. Machining is perfect. Finish is grea. Lockup is tight on my Spikes lower.

Put one of these together the other day. 16" 1:8 twist. Ran fine. It's definitely not a Larue, but it didn't cost that much either.

I built this one a few weeks ago CBC rifle kit . The stock sucks and the trigger is HEAVY but crisp. I have only put a few hundred rounds down the pipe. I do like it so far. No problems. I was going for a cheap lightweight carbine. I paid 499 shipped for the kit and built it on a 60 dollar Anderson lower ( also picked up a used ATI butt stock at a gunshow for 15 bucks ). The best part is that it likes the 55 grain pills !
