Im currently building an AR15 mostly for precision shooting but also wasnt looking for a crazy large gun, using an 18" 1in8 twist barrel. I was curious about the JP buffer systems they have, to be more specific its the JPSCS-15 ar15 silent captured buffer spring (standard version). Does anyone have one on their gun and/or have used one. If so is it worth the money? if not what would be the perfect buffer for my build? money isnt an issue, just want to make the perfect gun with as little recoil as possible.
Thanks!

Lookup the A5 buffer system. It uses a little longer buffer tube of you haven't already got your tube. The buffer and spring are also a little longer. The cheapest buffer tube is the PSA AR-10 buffer tube for collapsible stocks. I used the Sprinco silicon chrome "Green" spring and a CTS Aktive A5 buffer. The A5 system is what all the Marines are issued now iirc.

im sure thats a good buffer however ive heard many good things about the jp system and i was curious of the difference between the standard and heavy version. Im not really looking for a cheap one, i just want to have my perfect build and i feel the buffer has alot to do with  the shot obviously, i was just curious about a little more info on these particular buffers. thank you though

Personally I don't really see the point of them.  With a adjustable gas block (which you should have on this type of build anyways) and a quality buffer and spring you could dial your rifle in to be about as soft as you're gonna get it for a lot less than what JP sells their product for.

I've never noticed the "sproooing" noise that people talk about except with loading or clearing a rifle...and it doesn't bother me enough to want to fork out extra money on something to get rid of it.

I have one in my RRA A4 varmint, just ordered the spring pack. I lost my perfect 3 o'clock ejection pattern when I switched over. Now im getting a 1 o'clock with the standard jp silent spring. Im going to try a bit heavier spring and see what happens.  Love the silence though.
