hey black rifle world! looking for opinions, Putting the finishing touches on a 6.5 build and indecisive about which stock to go with, rifle will be for 600-1000 yd shooting was going to go Magpul PRS then I seen the Luth AR MBA-1. Does anyone have an opinion on the Luth stock. I currently have a 22 in JP super match barrel and was thinking the PRS stock would counter balance the weight a little. Looking at the specs the LUTH is a little lighter and wondering if it will leave my rifle feeling front heavy. any opinions??

I have luth-ar on one of mine and my buddy has a prs, both are great stocks but I prefer the luth-ar

Both are good stocks.  PRS feels a little more solid, but it's also twice the weight and twice the price.

I have the MBA on my 22" bull barrel gun, like it a lot.  My buddy did a very similar build with a 24" bull and the PRS.  At the same price point, I'd probably go PRS, largely because I like to support Magpul.  But ~$120 savings makes the decision a bit easier.  I didn't care about weight on this one, so that didn't factor into the decision:

I'm going to assume that question was directed at me.

The rifle is long, and I hand made a 1.8 lb billet steel receiver for it.  The thing weighs 16.3 lbs; it feels heavy all around.  For this build, though, weight was not a concern.  It is a varmint rifle, meant to be used prone or benched, where more mass is a good thing.
