I wonder if it is compatible with most/all 80% jigs or
do you need their
special  Million dollar jig?

Based on the description any jig that fits around the magwell will work.  That's what most jigs do.  Stealth Arms has a jig that does not, it uses the cutout where the bolt catch goes which would not work on this lower.

Pretty sure the Easy Jig will work.

I picked up one of these from JoeBob Outfitters . G23 mags would not even insert into the magwell fully. Contacted New Frontier and they're going to make a right by swapping out the lower. Ivan at New Frontier was very helpful in this matter and assured me the lower he's sending definitely allows G23 mags et al to insert and drop free easily. Hope the replacement one will work. This is the first piece of my .40 carbine build.

I ordered a finished one directly from New Frontier Arms.  I'll order a few 80% ones if the 100% one is legit (and if it fits the Easy Jig, lol).

The easy jig does not work with the regular billet New Frontier lowers.  The glock 9mm lower looks to be the same shape and size so I doubt it will work.  New Frontier contacted 80 percent arms and offered to work with them to make changes so the easy jig would work and I don't think anything came out of it.

Was that their standard "easy jig" or their universal version of the easy jig?   I had heard that the universal easy jig would work with the new frontier billet lowers.  Maybe not.

I wonder if the modulus  (sp) jig would work?  That jig had a pretty long thread not too long ago on here.

Look at the chart I linked to below, which says the universal does not fit the New Frontier.  I have completed a New Frontier with the modulus arms without any modification.  I can also say the 80% arms universal jig does not work with Iconic Industries lowers but will work with the modulus arms jig.

Thanks for that link.  That's a good resource to have.  And if I remember correctly the modulus jig is also a router based system, correct?  Any idea about the Ares Armor BILLET 80% lowers working in either of the jigs?

Haven't tried an Ares Armor, but I can't imagine any lower not working with the Modulus Arms jig.  It doesn't reference the sides of the lower and isn't limeted to the width of the lower.  Look at the iconic industries lowers; if the modulus can do those, I think it will do any.

Yes it is a router based jig and since it mounts via the buffer tube mount instead of by the side plates like all the other jigs, I see no reason why it would not work with the 9mm lower.

As soon as I read the original post I ordered one from Joe Bob's and got it about 4 days later.

I checked the fit of the Glock mags right away, and they fit at least as well as they do in my Glock 19.

I'm going to finish it on the Modulus Arms jig, and after I do I'll try to post something.

Given how cheap 80% receivers have gotten it's still kind of pricey, but hey, at least it was on sale!
