I tried the search but came up empty, is there a site where I can download dimensional information on the AR15 and AR10 Lowers? Don't need CNC stuff, prints would work fine. Thanks, Patrick

I've been looking for a print as detailed for the AR10 platform but haven't seen anything close.

Anyone?

308 Prints vary, I have found three different ones.....

The fact is though, the fire control machining is the same for all, same as an AR15. The location of the machining must come from the selector hole and the location of the selector hole is dictated by the fact that the selector detent hole is always pre-machined in an 80% lower. The selector hole must be on center with it. After that the rest of the machining including the hammer and trigger pin holes always have the same relationship to the selector hole..........

Don't forget that there are variations in dimensions due to the original Armalite pattern (AR-10 A&B versions) and then The DPMS pattern (LR-308 G1 & G2) and
then the SR-25 pattern which is a hybrid of both above patterns in some form...

Again, to is no "Mil-Spec" pattern to the AR based 308's like there is for the AR-15 pattern of rifles/carbine, etc..so this makes things a bit more complicated...This
is before the added PSA and Aero 308's currently on the market...

I have lower prints for both major patterns (AR-10B and DPMS LR-308 G1) as well as a few others...

Good luck.

I currently have an Ares 308 80%'er which I believe is  a DPMS G1 pattern.   All I have found for prints is enough to confirm they "vary"

Quentin is the only AR-308 that I know of that has a significant variation on the safety selector location...

i will say blue prints is a dead process used to transfer and make plans. you are searching based on the wrong words.

also you will reference the FCG pocket, selector, pin holes based off of the bolt catch slot.

Funny, I see no dimensions coming off of the bolt catch slot on the Colt blueprint. The front pin is used but like I said, by using the selector detent to start you are making sure the selector handle indexes correctly.

and in this case if you did a search of the AR15 site, it is called a blueprint
