Just purchased 2 stripped lowers for a SBR build. Looking for the best parts kit out there to start putting it together. Any suggestions? First time building one

I bought a pair of Rock River Arms lpk from the lgs when I bought my first two lowers.  $70 each.

I've chosen Spikes for my go to lpk.  I've also used PSA LPK did what it is suppose to do, I just prefer the spikes.

Take a look at AIM's Critical Defense melonite LPK ($39, no trigger guard, no grip). What you want, without what you don't.

You beat me to it. WO is the best parts kit for the $ and you get to pick your own trigger.

buy the cmmg kit w/o a trigger for $30 and then get a drop in trigger for $150

or buy a cmmg lpk for $50.

anything else. DD or similar has made no difference to me besides the packaging. spend wisely

CMMG kits are color coded for the parts. Save yourself time and headache. Get a CMMG kit...

I just looked this parts kit up on PSA's site.  That's not a bad deal at all considering the ACT trigger goes for $60 typically.  PSA has the standard A2 kit with ACT trigger for $75 and the Magpul version for $100 plus shipping.

+1, the AIM kit was great, used two of them...

I am running an ALG Defense QMS Trigger with lower parts kit in my AR and I really like it.  Sooth pull and the kit went together with no problems.

In my AR Pistol, I am running a Spikes Tactical Standard LPK and it feels just as good as the ALG kit.

I got them for about $75

That is the kit without the grip, FCG and trigger guard.  I get this kit at the gun shows for $34 out the door with tax or you can get them online for around $36 plus shipping most of the time.  I can get the full CMMG kit with grip, FCG and trigger guard for $54 out the door at the local gun show.

I do not know of a complete CMMG kits for $50.

Primary Arms has a complete Anderson kits for $50 and they have a really good deal on a complete Anderson kit with a 7075 buffer tube kit minus the stock for $65.

The 4 CMMG kits that I purchased had everything in them.  These were the kits w/ out the grip, FCG and trigger guard.  I have never purchased their full kit.

I have 3 personal builds and 2 have CMMG and one with a RRA. CMMG is definitely my choice. Never had an issue, not impressed at all with RRA.

Absolutely. Spikes roll pins kick ass. It was $38 without the FCG from Primary Arms when I bought a lower.

I had good luck with this kit.  Interestingly, the nicest mil spec trigger I've gotten came with a MOE LPK from  PSA. The rest of the kit was nice as well.

I've used:
Red Barn x 3
Spikes x 2
PSA MOE
Del Ton

The only one I wouldn't use again would be DelTon.  There was nothing specifically wrong with it, but the trigger sucked and it seemed difficult to assemble in my spikes lower (but, to be fair, it was my first lower build).

I have a kit from Red Barn Armory, and one from White Oak, no problems with either of them w/a few thousand rounds through each.

I purchased some from omega manufacturing inc for 44.99, they are the nicest kits I've seen for under $100. That was dealer pricing though, but you can become a "dealer" for $100+ order. I guess they are manufactured by a company in Florida that does military contract work, worth a shot and I love them so far.
