Hey everyone. So here's the nearly finished product.

 http://flic.kr/p/ryPcqP

http://flic.kr/p/ryFws1

Andersen arms lower w/ GI parts kit + XMR gen 1 from Odin Works, rear sling mount plate, BCM Mod 0 grip.
My version of what I consider a Fighting Carbine.

PSA upper w/ COLT gov. Profile 14.5" barrel
Milspec tube w/ MFT minimalist stock (pinned for state compliance)
leapers/UTG 15" Pro Free float SS rail (in my humble opinion one of the best freefloats to buy. Especially their keymod stuff)
Kineti-tech Muzzle brake soldered in place and detachable sound redirecting shroud
magpul MBUS gen 2
EOtech EXPS—2 holographic sight.

Magpul front sling mount and Magpul MS-2 Two-one point sling.
KAC "broomstick" vert. Grip.

Still waiting on CMC 3.5 trigger.

Total weight unloaded w/o optics or sling  6.5 lbs.
Total weight.unloaded w/ optics and sling 7.5 lbs.

Your pics aren't showing, but I like the idea of the Kinetic-Tech brake on the 14.5 barrel. I did the same to add a little versatility to a pinned muzzle device. There isn't much of a difference with or w/o the shroud on my 6.8

Hmm. I noticed a pretty drastic difference in 5.56 in both 55g r and 62gr.

thanks a lot man. I really enjoyed making this. I've been running it pretty hard. everything has held up well for a franken build
very pleased with the UTG free float rail and the Kinet-tech Muzzle brake. there is a bit of slop between the andersen arms lower
and the PSA upper but that was fixed with an accu-wedge ( i know it doesn't improve accuracy or reliability but I just prefer having a tighter gun)
