I have one and IMO save your money. Even with a strap wrench it is a PITA to remove, at least it is on my LR-308 based rifle. Even with pine rosin it was a real bugger to get off and getting it lined back up with the strap wrench was even worse. I had installed and lined up the holes in the barrel nut with a real wrench when installed, and no matter what I did the strap wrench would not get it exactly back to where it was. Enough to get the gas tube in, OK, but I had installed a bottom rail on the forend for a bipod and now it is ever so slightly crooked. The forend needs to go another 1/64 inch or less in rotation to get it back perfectly aligned and with the gas tube in the center of the BN hole instead of bearing against one side of it.
And if you compare the actual weight, of the forend AND barrel nut, it is not all that lightweight either. Just as soon as MI brings out their Keymod Lite in the LR-308 that goofy Clark SOB is getting crap canned. Looks good, but if you ever remove and reinstall it, you'll rue the day you bought it. If you do get it, install it with a strap wrench also. That was my mistake. I installed with a prong type BN wrench which puts a lot more force on it than a strap wrench can, but if you use a strap wrench to install it you may have less of a hassle when it comes time to remove it and reinstall it. If you are like me, you don't leave things alone for too long and it will be removed several times during its life.
