Do you have a press?
What's your experience with jigs or metalwork. I'd hate to give advice that isn't useful.

Since you didnt mention the purpose of the "jigs" you are wanting info for, I will provide some info on the "jig" I am building for mounting the standard USGI FSB on a new barrel. I imagine I could also install a used FSB to a used barrel as well. I am using a new blem (cheap) flattop upper, to hold the barrel in alignment, a block of aluminum, a 24" long, by 5/16" piece of keystock, and a 24" piece of aluminum "L" as the back bone. So far I am setting it  up for 16" barrels, since that is all I have available. I am not disassembling any rifles to borrow the barrel. I do plan to measure one to get a rough idea tho.
