Hi, Is there anyone in CO, preferably Denver that knows there way around a mill? Maybe some CAD too? I have an idea for a custom Muzzle Brake\Compensator\Flash hider (if it works i am going to call it MCF) Basically, right now its just an idea drawn on some paper, but if it works, who knows where it could go. I would like to build it and test it, and improve it or junk it, just basically should take a weekend, or maybe a day even... It would be really cool if it worked.

Take your idea to a local machine shop and be prepared to shell out some cash. Or find a company in the firearms industry that is interested in your design.

Thats not a bad idea, but i didnt want to shell out much cash for it. Thats why i was looking for someone who could mill it out near me.

I've been down this road and it can be a difficult one. Without capital you're going to need to find someone willing to take this on with the big chance it won't amount to anything. I'm not trying to discourage you, more trying to prepare you for what's ahead if you are serious.

Actually i was just looking for someone who was willing to mess around, maybe with some free time, that knows milling, you know, buy a case of beer and bs about women while working. If i had a drill press with a mill vice, i could do it. I just was thinking itd be fun for someone to try
